Good for you!!! Great job.

I hate the yoga. It's the only thing I don't like about P90X.

I have been doing P90X for a year. LOVE IT. I must say I love Tony even though some people thinks he is annoying. I think he is great. I started also doing Turbo Fire and love that so much I am doing a hybrid of both. Feel free to friend me! It is really nice to find other "woman" who are doing P90X!!!!

MFP logging like a mad woman. Even log my vitamins because many have calories. Always try to eat my exercise calories back. When I stayed at just 1200 max and was not getting to 1200 net then the scale stayed still. Eating those back helped a lot. Food is number one. Calories in vs calories out. But a strong strong runner…

Are you sure you are eating 1100 a day because it does not look like you are logging on MFP. Maybe you are logging somewhere else? I was in your same boat. I was only eating 1200 calories a day and not eating back my exercise calories. I learned a lot from reading the message boards. Started making sure I was netting 1200…

^^^^ Agree 100%. By eating the same things most of the time I don't even have to think about it. As long as the same things are healthy choices. Plus I also take vitamins as well.

Yep and drink :drinker:

^^^^^ Exactly. Jillian is great for people just starting out or who never worked out before. If you want to get in shape and be pushed you need beachbody.

Calories in vs Calories out. It is just that simple to me. Some on here are going to tell you not too. Some on here are going to tell you to eat them. This is the way I see it. Why not? If I am going to still lose weight eating them back because I am still operating at a deficit then why would I want to be miserable and…

I am NOT A COACH! Nor do I ever want to be one. But, I am a regular person who works out in their basement and has tried almost every DVD program out there and Beachbody is the best. I say this because they seem to push you harder than your normal workouts, there is more variety daily with constant changes in the schedule,…

^^^^ Agree!!! I use to do just Cardio. When I started doing weights my whole body changed.
-
Wow!!! Wow! Wow! Wow! You are an inspiration and should be so proud! Congratulations! You look fantastic!

Polar works great for me. You need one with a chest strap if you want it to be as accurate as possible.
-
I have bad knees as well. I found these great knee straps on Amazon called Mueller jumping knee strap. I had another person with bad knees tell me about them. They made all the difference in the world. I wore them everyday when I worked out no matter what kind of work out of even if it was just going for a walk. Over time…

I wish. Actually in the steel industry in sales and purchasing. Anyone need to buy some steel? LOL!

^^^ agree 100% ^^^

I don't think you can lose muscle in two weeks. I was set at 1200 and was not losing. When I increased my calories, did more weight lifting and less cardio the weight started falling off.
-
P90X person here! Love it! It changed everything for me. Use to be cardio and walking only struggling to lose weight. Started P90X and the weight started falling off. Never knew how important weight lifting was before.

Ha ha! That is awesome!

I love the new generation of fans. Since I grew up as a kid in love with these films it tickles me to see my nephews wearing star wars costumes and watching the movies 1,000 times. It just goes to show they are classic films.
-
They relate because there is a wonderful love story that plays out between all three movies. Edit to say I am referring to the originals. They last three had a love story but were much more concentrated on telling the story that led to the original films. Every girl I knew had a Luke Skywalker or Han Solo poster on their…

Calories in vs. Calories out. And any loss is a good thing. Even if it was just a half of a pound. That is still less than you weighed the week before.
-
I have it as well. Even after starting medication my doctor told me that medication will help but won't take off the weight. She said you must exercise 5-6 days a week for 45-50 minutes at a time and eat healthy. I listened to her and she was right. Dropped the weight only after watching my calories on here and working out…

I noticed a lot of negative comments and opinions. It's a little frustrating. 5'5 tall with a small frame being 30 pounds over weight no one ever said a word. No one was concerned about my health. No one asked me what my plan was moving forward like "You are not going to gain anymore weight are you?" "You are not going to…

Measure and forget the scale. I was not losing weight for two months but was losing a half inch to an inch a week.
-
I work out for beer. If I need 400 extra calories to have 4 beers I will work out till I have burned 400 calories or more. If I only burn 200 I only get two beers. :) Beer is good.
-
I use a Heart Rate Monitor to get my calorie burn then log it.
-
I do Turbo Fire as a hybrid with P90X. Turbo Fire is so much fun that it is my go to for cardio. Love it! At first you feel like you can't keep up or will never learn the moves but she is right. The more you do it the easier it gets. Not the work out. But the moves.

How about one ingredient foods? Try eating more like Egg, Chicken, Tuna, Lettuce, Apple, Banana, etc... I totally believe in calorie in vs calories out but I do also think eating a lot of processed foods can cause you problems.
