I put mine is a frying pan, stir, and keep a close eye on it. Few minutes. Over cook it and it turns to mush. Enjoy!

many, many things have helped me. two that i repeatedly keep in mind are... 1. one burger didn't make me fat, just like one salad won't make me skinny 2. eat to live instead of living to eat Good luck to all.

welcome. best of luck!

It's advice. Not law. It doesn't matter to me who follows it or not. People recommend all types of stuff here, and back to my original point, about half have no idea what they are talking about. It's up to each individual to decide what advice to take and what to skip over. I'm beginning to remember why I stayed away from…

Good point. I like to think I know what I'm talking about mostly b/c I won't offer advice on something I'm not very sure of. I am by no means an expert and try not to come across as one. I hope to just offer bits and pieces of real advice based on my knowledge and experience, both gained here. Weighing yourself seems like…

The best kind of workout is the one you will do. if you like to walk, walk. If you like to bike, bike. especially in the beginning. Eventually you can mix it up with something you aren't crazy about and power thru it b/c tomorrow you go back to the routine you love. Many gyms offer a free personal training session to get…

Dave Matthews Band. Any one else out there, feel free to friend request!

i love mine too. its perfect to cook for one. not sure how it would work for a big family as mine wouldn't fit more than two chicken cutlets. maybe there are bigger ones. chicken is always juicy. nice that i can set it up, and then go do something else while it cooks. better than over, and with bbq you gotta check it…

that. sounds. delicious.

cardio will be difficult, but upper body weight lifting will be fine. stretching and yoga can be your friend for a while too.

eat before you go. then have some water, tea or coffee. tell people you forgot and ate beforehand. or take a muffin or something, break it into pieces, throw some of it away to look like youve ate some of it, and leave the rest on your plate. this has worked for me as i will go to breakfast area when no one is there, then…

it sounds like these guys are asking if you want a different kind of ride. be careful, for sure.

1200 is already low and very few, very few will recommend going lower. your rate of loss will slow down, which is fine as most recommend a pound per week. plus, maybe look into eating your exercise calories back, or at least some to maintain your health.

my advice would be to only listen to about half the people on this site. the other half have no idea what they are talking about. find what works for you, then stick with it. be prepared to sacrifice. and don't weigh yourself.

b/c that's what we do. whether it is to see if you are truly ok, or to see if you're doing as *kitten* as we are, some of us are going to check in. i will say i disagree with people saying to block him. but perhaps some boundaries are needed. and nothing says you need to reply right away either. plus, it might be habit for…

yes. used to bbq drunk in college. was too lazy to let briquettes get real hot, so would put burger on, it was burnt on outside and raw in middle. Ate those many times and so did my friends. Miracle we never got sick. Have you ever stolen the bartenders tip money off the bar?

Pete Rose. Easiest decision I made all day.

I teach reading. Our school mascot is the knight. so, Knightreader it is. Plus, was huge fan of David Hasselhoff and it was close to Knight Rider. Just kidding, Baywatch was much better show.

tried c4 for a while. that stuff is crazy and not at all good for you. research it. some people go with coffee or a coke. i usually found that a decent playlist was enough for me. or a buddy. or a cutie at the gym i was trying to impress.

changing my mindset from "living to eat" to "eating to live."

don't think "day to day," think "week to week."

I used to take a spin class and a hot yoga class. MFP has those exercises listed in their database. Just enter the amount of time you did them and it'll give you an estimated calorie burn based on your weight. I loved my classes but stopped both for a few reasons, but found them motivating and effective.

give it a try. i know someone who loves it!
