So I had a treat today of mint choc moose cake. made with full fat stuff and Belgium chocolate. I left about a quarter of the slice as it was too rich. I'm wonder ing how many calories to write in....

I would just find a chain restaurant version of chocolate mousse cake in the database and use that. It might not be right but it will get you in the ballpark. And that sounds yummy!!!

I searched "chocolate mousse cake" and found a bunch. Looks like the average is @ 350 cals, which sounds right to me.

    Typo is funny. :D

(said by veteran of silly typos myself ;) )

Seriously OP, what I do in this situation is search the data base for similar food - chocolate mousse cake or if none there, something similar enough, say, chocolate cheesecake - and pick an average calorie entry.
