I've been every shade of blonde and loved em all. The one time I went brunette it washed me out and made my hair moppy (don't have pics due to shame :p) Last pic looks close to brunette because of lighting but its a dirty blonde (my natural color :) )

Drink more water? Honestly the opposite happened to me, I started working out and my skin cleared up. I really think its because of the crazy amounts of water I'm drinking. I wish I could help otherwise but everyone's skin is different :/

Hate to break it to you but trainers are not scientists. If eating small meals throughout the day helps you control your intake and curb your appetite then thats great though, it just doesn't really affect your metabolism.

Eating 2000 calories is not under-eating, you'll be fine. If you are netting under 1200 then just add a calorie-dense filling snack.
