I am up for this. I have a holiday coming up, but I had planned to start mid September and want to lose 21lb (1.5 stone) by Christmas.

I have tried doing the whole eating clean thing, but I cant keep it up long-term. The only way I know is to limit my calories to 1600 max during the week, because at the weekend I like to have a few beers, maybe some chocolate etc. I still eat peanut butter, bread etc. during the week but have to make it fit into my…

24lbs for me... around 60-70% of my "Total loss" target

peanut butter is my weakness. I buy the 1kg natural peanut butter from Musclefoods with each order I put through (once a month) Really have to control myself with it! :)
-
I don't do rewards along the way, my few drinks on the weekend are my reward for the hard work Monday - Friday (by few drinks, I mean beer but within my allowance for the week as I save calories up for the weekend) When I reach my goal weight, 32lb to lose, I will get that Breitling watch I've been after for a while now!…

very interested :)

Would like to join in, have 25lb to lose to reach my first target (then another 10lb after that)

25lb to lose. Slowly crept up on me over the last 12-18 months. Good luck!

nutribullet :)

I have lost weight plenty of times, but when I got there I would tend to binge or think I could eat what I want, and slowly gained weight back. It got to the stage when I realised I had to start again... I had crept to 220lb. I have been reading up on this site again and tracking for the last 5 weeks, and incorporating…

my Nutribullet (600) does the job adequately.

^^^ The Nutribullet (as opposed to the PRO) is perfectly capable for what you need. I have one, and it deals with nuts, seeds, ice etc with no problem. so Leafy greens are no problem!

Same here, 2 weeks back after 6 months off. Just need a kick up the back side to motivate me again :)
-
sorry just seen this!

Muscle is denser than fat, not heavier, if that helps you understand. Meaning you can weigh the same, but you'll be slimmer and fit into your clothing better.

Purchased one a few days ago. On Day 3 and its brilliant. I use it for my Breakfast shake which consists of oats, choc whey, banana, avocado, and milk. I have experimented using several different types of fruit, and several types of veg and it has no problems using nuts, seeds etc. A little expensive at £100 but I'm happy…

Hi, if your using oats NOT blended, I personally soak them overnight in either purified water, or milk/almond milk to help break the oats down. I add whey, and then good to go. Oats are softened enough to go down without too much fuss, although a little lumpy for sure.

Breakfast would be this or similar: spinach, carrot, broccoli, pear, an orange. lemon or lime juice to sweeten, and flax seed oil. (can substitute fruit and/or veg for other varieties) or choc whey, a banana, oats, and honey, with water. (if I have a craving for something sweet, or post workout)

Good afternoon! May i ask for what reason in particular you want "low sugar"? Is it because you think this will lead to fat gain? If you are eating above maintenance calories you will gain "weight", its not based on the sugar intake. I prefer to make my own shakes, as you can control what you are putting into it, choose…

I am currently having breakfast around 7.45, a protein shake around 10.30am, and a decent sized lunch at around 2pm. I personally coudlnt go from 7.30am until 12-12.30pm without some sort of food/shake. The average two scoop shake consists of around 200-300 calories (depending whether used with water/milk) and delivers…

@ SAMUELGRAY You can of course lose "weight" by cardio alone, but Strength/resistenace training will shape your body.On cardio alone, you will sacrifice water, Muscle and fat. Strength training on a calorie controlled diet slows down the loss of muscle/preserves muscle mass. DEFINATELY something i would recommend strongly…
