Thank you thank you! Just wish the last 13 would hurry up and join the released pounds! :)

I wish I had a workout room! Our house is pretty small, so unfortunately, I don't. I use my living room for my videos after I push the coffee table out of the way (so most of one DVD rack is full of my DVDs). A cabinet has my universal dumbbells, and my resistance bands. The closet has my yoga mat. Upstairs in the spare…

Thank you so much for the comments, everyone! Yeah, it has taken a long time, but like everyone always says: This journey is a marathon, not a sprint! Oh how true that is! (Yes, music is a big part of my life. I started on piano way back when I was a little young'un, and started singing around the same time. Picked up…

Thank you for your service, and best wishes on your journey here! (But I thought there was no such thing as a "former" Marine!)

Here's a before and current: Before, guesstimating 280 pounds (my "official" starting weight was 270 because that's when I'd gotten an actual number, but I know I was higher in this before pic). This current: 168 pounds. I should make another; I'm another 10 pounds down and have been regularly strength training now! Went…

You are amazing! Just in case nobody's told you that lately, but I have a feeling you're going to hear that a lot here! You've done such a wonderful job of transforming your life, and your story helps encourage me to keep going! Great job!!

Good info in this thread. Thank you!

I am doing a TurboFire/CLX hybrid program right now. I'm in the second of a three month schedule. I still have the goal of losing an additional 14 pounds (I've lost 111 so far). But with this combination so far, I have maintained around 160 and can't seem drop much lower. It's frustrating, but I also know it's because I'm…

Oh, wow. I was off by four sizes. I thought I was much bigger. But that makes sense with how I see myself when I look in a mirror compared to what people tell me. ETA: Apparently, I think I'm 20% larger than I am. *shakes head sadly* I gotta fix this self-image thing.

Bump. Thanks for the info!

Bump. Thanks for the tips.

I'm definitely going to need my upper arms done so clothes can actually fit me. I think I need my abdomen done because it's starting to inhibit the types of exercise I can do. (I have difficulty with plyometrics, for example.) I am willing to pay for as much of it as I can, but unfortunately, I'm on disability and so…

I do most of the time, because most of my workouts are in my home. If I'm outside, I throw on a sports tank because I'm still shrinking my tummy.

I don't suck anything in. I want it natural so I can use those measurements to help find clothes. Tape measure is snug but not digging in. While it might be nice to see a smaller number, it's not realistic for things like clothes shopping online. Of course, as someone else said, the most important thing is the overall…

I've already lost over 100 pounds, and have about 30 more to reach my goal.
-
Yum! Thanks!

I'm just starting heavy lifting so I'm not much help for resources yet. But the book 'The New Rules of Lifting for Women' has been recommended to me by several people. Check it out on Amazon.

YAY!! Congratulations! ONEderland is a great place to be, and we're glad you're here! :D

Incredible job! You give me hope that when I reach goal, as long as I give my body some time, all this loose skin will go away....
-
"B" shaped stomach here, too. I hate it, but know I might be stuck with it despite losing so much weight, unless I have surgery (which might end up being necessary but I won't know for a couple years...but right now loose skin is interfering with some types of workouts). Glad I'm not the only one, but sorry we have to deal…

I did the 3/2/1 program for two weeks when my meal portions were slipping and getting big again, to reacquaint myself with staying in a specific calorie range. A kick in the pants, as it were. Now I have a bar occasionally if I'm short on time for breakfast, but I'm back on real food. Ultimately, real food is best of…

It is "meem". Anything else is wrong.

Yep, this. I've lost over 100 pounds so far, and have always had big arms. The bat wings I have now are terrible. They'll tighten up a little bit, but I'm going to need surgery to make them look decent. I am planning on having the arm lift, because I'm sick of not being able to wear sleeveless shirts, or buy other shirts…

In 3 weeks, you've lost 7 pounds, 3" on your waist? Or was that 2 weeks? But things haven't moved in the last week? Perspective. You've done a great job in the short time you've been at this. You're doing fine, and just keep going. You haven't been at it a long time. In 3 weeks, you can't expect to be down 30 pounds and…

Way to go!! What an incredible job!

Ah, yes, the new RecipeBook. It's gotten highly annoying! Though I do have a few friends who are more health-conscious who are posting healthy things, and I like those. But gah, I didn't log on to Facebook to get recipes! Much less like 10 a day!

Bump for the helpful info!

AMAZING results! Congrats on your hard work!!

Bump, cuz I'm having the same problem. Especially for finding denim shorts right now! Augh!
