  • I think it depends on the individual's body. I tried the low carb thing back when in high school when I was playing rugby. As it turns out with out enough complex carbs I end up a starving, shaky mess. And when I'm a starving shaky mess? No amount of nuts or lean protein seems to fix it. Give me a bowl of oatmeal or a nice…
  • -smiles- this made my night <3
  • I am so sorry =( I understand where you are coming from. I lost my Dad to substance abuse because he couldn't get clean. Years and years later (14 to be exact), I now understand that my Dad suffered an addiction, and while he tried, it got the best of him, and he did love me. It was a hard road though. -hugs- for you...…
  • So are peas, tomatoes, yellow beans, squash, and anything else containing a seed which we call a vegetable =) The only true vegetables are things that we eat the leaves and stalks of... I think though whether it's a fruit/vegetable/tuber/fungus, the OP is just looking for "non-green things we might call a vegetable"

You MUST be on a work semester from University? Me: Graduated from there too. Them: how old ARE you? Me: 27 Them: You'll be thankful when you're grown…
  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cheesesteak......... I for one only like "cooked cheese" ie: melted. Being on the road totally sucks. Not sure what the grocery stores are like where you are, but where I live you can get some decent meals that they prepare there :) But that all depends on where you are. Not all stores are…
  • Try adding more diversity to your diet... that is a lot of subs and grapefruit! Think nuts, other fresh fruits, whole grain crackers with cheese. You can also try adding extras to your oatmeal. I usually add various types of dried fruits, diced apple, flax, high fibre bran etc; to mine. I'd also look at adding more…
  • Hey good on you for getting out to clean the horse stalls! I do agree with the others around here though - be careful about logging that sort of work. I look after 17 horses and teach lessons regularly, but I don't log those calories. The reason I don't log them is because it's stop and go work, not consistent. Ie: You're…
