Keto-ing since end of October, here. I think it has done me and my neuro-disease (MS) well. Almost a 40 pound loss on this WOE so far, and I *feel* better. Win-win!

Fantastic explanation! Wish more health care professionals knew this, but as I understand it, med schools offer 1 semester of nutrition courses. I took 1 semester as a nurse. Small wonder. Thanks!

My all-time fave: Chubby Hubby. I don't even know if it's still out or in the graveyard. My hubby's fave (and I KNOW it's still in production) is Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream.

All I know is that the calorie burn here is much lower than the site I used for years. I'm on a beta blocker, too, so I'm interested in what you come up with.

I started this journey with wls at 367 pounds 5/15/95. I managed to gain most of it back in 6 years time. I tried to get a revision done, but my surgeon didn't want to because I now have MS. I started with diet and exercise (and using my *tool*) October 18, 2009. October 25, 2009 I weighed 352 pounds. Today I weighed in at…

I've been doing 15-30 carbs/day now since the end of October and I've lost about 30# since then. Cravings for me are almost non-existent now, and have been after about a month in. White knuckle cravings have been gone since about 10 days in. I have to say, I look better, feel better, even *think* better. I love it.

Hi! I had gastric bypass (open) done 5/15/95 and gained almost everything back in about 6 years time. Initially lost about 130#. Re-started my journey (MUCH harder this time) October 18, 2009. Back down to about where I was now, a little lower actually. Take your vitamins!!! I can't stress that enough. It wasn't stressed…

It was NOT easy, and I still have about 70 to go? But, I am disabled with MS and that probably is why it has been harder for me. Lots of Rx drugs and only very light exercise. Feel free to add me.

Love this. Than you so much for posting.

I started this journey October 18, 2009. I've been losing slowly, but I was 352+ pounds when I started. I say + because it took me nearly a week before I found the courage to step on the scale. It's been a long 4 1/2 years, but I have taken this in fits and starts. I CAN and WILL do this. I've lost 115+ pounds so far and I…

Hi! Feel free to add me. My end will be -178 pounds ( I think). We can help each other! :flowerforyou:

Hi everyone! I've been following this WOL since the end of October. I've been changing my lifestyle since October of 2009, though. I am a 43yo mother of 3, former nurse(disabled since early 2002). Love this WOL, and seem to have no trouble with it except a *very* low CLL. I eat 15-20 carbs/day and most times when I…
