I go with all the pizza people. I have NO self control with how much I eat, no matter how full I am, I want more if it's there.

I used to eat at Arby's thinking I was making a "good choice" b/c I'm not a huge fan of their french fries, and always get a turkey sandwich (sounds healthy to me!). Depending on which one the sandwich alone is 700-800 calories. I still eat fast food, but make wiser choices, and don't eat huge. MFP REALLY taught me a lot…

It depends. I know my calories are right when I use the elliptical at the gym, and enter my own calories burnt... but it'd be almost impossible to eat an additional 500-800 calories. Besides, the point of losing weight is to be a little under, in my understanding. If you're hungry, eat. I find that when I've burnt 800…

Of COURSE chocolate is awesome!

I think---> that chocolate is AWESOME! I know---> that life is beautiful when you let it be beautiful I want---> a job I'm happier with I love ---> My kitty cat (Dobby the House Kitty), my boyfriend, my family, and my best friend I hate ---> Health problems that have impacted my feeling of self worth

For me it is the opposite. I bumped up the intesisty on the eliptical this week (increased time two weeks ago, intensity number this week), and when the TV went off, I found it hard to keep up. I was tempted to turn the intensity back to normal, but DID manage to push my way through b/c there wasn't too long left and I…

I LOVE Big Bang! And I agree, it's keeps me going!

Oh and have DEFINITELY thrown myself a pitty party or two... most normal people have!

Crazy similarities! KMS is kinda creepy :)
-
Thanks, who DOESN'T love Dobby? Krecher was very loyal, and almost noble in the end.
-
I might add: refuse to give up wine for weight, or chocolate... I love dark chocolate

Sure your wife being PTA counts :) The presidents are alway my favorite! Labs are awesome! I want one when I get out of a tiny apartment, whether Mr. Kitty wants one or not! Post surger and cancer scares are rough! Keep it going, awesome attitude!

Woop woop is right! Keep feeling good, that's the start to so much more! I was over calorie a lot when I first started (not extremely seriously) but for educational purposes. I tried to be honest so I would truly KNOW what I was doing. Honesty with yourself is the best policy. THEN I made mini changes to help get where I…

It depends on how much time you have and when you can eat in between. I LOVE my breakfast smoothies that I make in my blender. I get ALL of my fruits (and even a veggie) out of the way with just breakfast. It holds me over longer than I expect, and at least until an appropriate snack time. I blend: a peach blueberries…

WOW! I'm humbled. I got way more new "pals" than I imagined by posting this. I love that happened on just being a quirk. Glad to meet you guys!

I'm sure she will remain pure and innocent and in NO way do what it takes to have kids :)

AWESOME! Yes, it's tempting for me when everything looks SO delicious. I've always brought my lunch, but am starving by 3. Any after school snack tips are welcome!
-
Awesome! I love my kitty, too. He's a house cat... I actually named him "Dobby the House Kitty" after "Dobby the House Elf" in the Harry Potter books... I'm an 8th grade English right now... ask away if you have any questions!

Actually, because I no longer have a thyroid due to my cancer... my motto is "I'm too sexy for my thyroid" <3

COMPLETELY!

I knew there had to be people on here like me
-
 I should have put OR between all of them. As long as there's one thing, then we'll get along just fine as MFP pals... haha, I crack myself up sometimes, too.

I started tracking my food on here for MONTHS before I took it super seriously. I considered it EDUCATION... learning how much calories some things really are, etc. Then over the summer (I'm a teacher), I have had time to exercise more, etc. When I can actually SEE how many "more" calories I get by exercising, it motivates…

I've realized AFTER I lived with my old roommate that I did this, too. She weighed probably close to 300 as well, and I either complained about my weight or talked about how I had to go work out. At the time I weighed about 20 lbs less than I do now, and looked pretty darn good. I was self-centered young, and had a…

Agree, that the relationship is completely an unhealthy relationship all around... sends out a bad message that unhealthy relationships end up happily ever after as long as the sex is good... c'mon some of my best was in some of my most unhealthy relationships. Some women are gullible enough to believe this. Also I've…

My EXACT opinion, said to T recently to one of my friends who asked.

I think this is was a BRILLIANT thread to click on... simply brilliant.:drinker:

Isn't THAT a good feeling? You know you're doing right when you stop "wanting" the junk. At least that's my motto.
-
This is my plan :) I've been "watching what I eat" for MONTHS, but exercising big time since summer. I'm trying to REALLY push myself these last three weeks so I can keep the momentum going. I work a part time job, too, so I know I'll probably have to cut down on the exercise on days I work my 2nd job. I've always done…

Thank you! Yes, it does just make it a little bit more of a challenge. I'm not one to "blame" my thyroid and thyroid cancer treatment on EVERYTHING, it's just hard explaining the challenges without sounding "poor me", which is not how I like to come across either. Thanks for the support. It IS sad sometimes that symptoms…
