I think you are doing it right. From what i can tell you want to EAT your TDEE-15% or whatever. Then you do not eat your workout calories. But you also do not let your calories dip below BMR. I think there is a huge difference between celebrating your success and being obnoxious. If you lose weight and your proud of it that's awesome! You should be proud !! My TDEE minus 15% is 1800 or so. Usually when I workout I burn around 500-600 calories which would put me below my BMR. I usually get the estimated calorie burn by shaving some off of what the treadmill or elliptical say. I usually subtract 100 calories because I figure those things overestimate. Thank you everyone. I guess I just feel like during strength training my weight has gone up and so I know I am building muscle. But my inches havent gone down and one measurement went up. I am 5'3 and was 200 after the birth of my first son. I remember just feeling way too big. I started slow. Walking 10 min, cutting out junk food. Got down to 140 before I got preg with my second son.
