Can you please post links to these studies? I do know there are a couple MFPers that gained weight drinking diet soda, not from the drink itself, but they had issues with the aspertame causing increased hunger cues (iirc). I started drinking diet soda a few years ago. I like the carbonation giving me that "filled up"…

People were never supportive of my weight loss.

OP needs to deactivate his Billy Mays key.

If being relaxed with logging things will work for you, go for it. I'm someone who has to be strict or go back to being morbidly obese. Of course, being strict with logging doesn't stop weight gain when I keep shoving food in my mouth.

It wouldn't smooth out your belly. You might look a little smaller, but you won't go from 9 months pregnant to washboard abs wearing Spanx. If your belly is loose, it'll go up or down or both.

You're being impatient.

47 is the toughest for me so far. Got slammed with peri menopause (which increased the severity of my depressions) plus bonus health issues that are individually treated because my GP doesn't believe I have peri menopause. TBH, I'm kinda happy to be older. I'm much closer to getting a senior discount in shops (5 years to…

If you're asking which people have, I have a Fibit because I hate Apple.

Are you concerned because you left it out all night or that it might not be completely thawed?

If it makes OP feel better, Coke Zero is the "manly" version of Diet Coke.

Sadly, I can't help you. Mine are from being peri menopausal, not weight loss. You can always ask your GP to run blood tests and/or get their opinion.

I want to be part of Canadian culture by eating poutine, but gravy makes me sick.

I've lost 169# and don't think "I look better". I look smaller. I look less wide. Never "better".

My sisters use to iron their long curly hair to make it straight. They still have curly hair.

I used to "have" to get in at least 2 servings of fruits a day. Had to stop because of low iron.

Mine only adjusts when I log exercise.

If the package has nutritional info, use that. You can either create your own entry or correct one of the many incorrect ones.

It means I won't have to listen to the "rah rah weight lifting rulz" mantra for long because I will die from a heart attack sooner.

You people that have actual food for breakfast.

I gained 15# in the last year. It was easy. My depression spiked and I started stuffing food in my mouth to make myself feel better. I've lost (not regained *yet*) 2# in the past 2 months. I've had to become one of those people who can't have certain foods in the house, which sucks. I never stopped logging either, so it's…

I understand the difference between being physically and mentally hungry, but my lizard hind brain does not. Food tasting good doesn't help either.

I like sugar.

I actually had better quality of life at 320# than I do at 141#. At least people didn't tell me I have an ED because I log food.

I miss Cocoa Pebbles (and Fruity Pebbles). The shame of living in Canada. *sigh* I just eat easy-to-make stuff that I don't have to have my brain much engaged for. Been cereal with diet soda for years. When I feel like getting really complicated, I'll make micro polenta with molasses.

I eat, play video games (violence level depends on how angry I am), and/or beat something up. The rando woo'ing is just like the rando flagging from a couple years ago. People woo if they hate you or like you. Hells, people who are friends admit to woo'ing each others' posts just because. Woo means fudge-all on MFP. We all…

Sugar free Jell-o snack cups (5 calories) and roasted seaweed (20 calories per 5 grams).

Gaining 15# in one year got me over the fear of gaining. I failed. I accepted it. Now I just want to manage a weight that allows me to wear my jeans and good winter coat without busting the zippers.
