When I moved to Canada (from the UK) I borrowed my cousins car and couldn't understand why it wouldn't start, she had to explain to me that I had to put the clutch down to start it! Why is it different to in the UK - why can't it be the same???

This bit almost made me cry!! I was with my ex 8 years (got married in that time), have been split up just over a year, and we are still really good friends - think the relationship side kind of dwindled but the friendship side stayed. It took about 9 months till I realised I'd like to be with someone again and not just…

The solids form a blockage so as that moves through your intestines it pushes the gases out first???? as for the liquids they are reabsorbed on the way through! Just a guess!

I'm reading 'The Paris Wife' at the moment - can't remember the author. Love Lee Child's books and Tess Geritsen (Rizzoli and Isles)

I had the Aluminium discussion the other day with someone, along with how do you pronounce Z. "In'it" is one of my big peeves from the UK chav classes and I hate it when I find myself saying it!

Sublime - I think the Americans (at least the voice over on a bronzing advert) say "sub-leem" Lots of Americanisms of English words annoy me - but then I am from the UK and have had to start adapting now I live in Canada, although it's very mixed up here as to what people use - American or English!

oops posted it twice!

A-punk by Vampire Weekend Or just generally anything with a good beat - I'm very music motivated so stick something loud and fast on and it'll more than likely get me going :-)

Baked beans, Liver (had to do experiments with it for a-level biology and it was the worst smell ever!)
-
I've had Shark's fin soup at a Chinese wedding banquet - not sure what else was in the banquet so there may have been some other weird things there! Have had kangaroo as well, and now on the more common list is Ostrich burgers (so yummy and low in cholesterol too!)
-
London Wasps - hatred stems from Lawrence Dalligio and Matt Dawson - not helped by the pizzagate issue a couple of seasons back at Edgeley Park. Sheffield Steelers and Coventry Blaze (but not as much as the Squeelers). Oo you've got my blood boiling at the thought of these teams!

Dogs 100%, spent a few months renting a room at my friends - her cat drove me up the wall especially when she went away as it would cry out for her in the middle of the night normally outside my bedroom door! Or walk over my head while I tried to sleep. I miss waking up in the middle of the night and wondering why I can't…

Getting eyed up in a bar - I have pretty much no confidence at the moment so it's nice to feel noticed - especially if a lovely guy comes and dances with me! And high heels - can't walk for too long in them but they do make you feel more "Bring it on I can do anything"
-
J'adore by Dior for an evening or special occasion Eau Fantasque by Fragonard for daytime to name just 2 out of my collection - however I hardly get chance to wear them as I now work in a scent free environment and currently no dates :-(

I was a bit dubious about them, I'd seen them at my old gym and they just didn't look bothered, I've just moved to Canada to start a new life and joined the gym, had a personal trainer induction (for free) and she (the manager) laid out what the next 12 months would look like, foundation stage, building/strength phases and…

Born and raised in Cheshire (England), moved to Nottingham for university and love, and moved to Halifax, NS, Canada a few months ago! So many failed attempts to learn french, only speak English!
-
1) Chris Hemsworth 2) Matthew McConaughey 3) Freddie Flintoff - not so much an A-list celeb but was one hell of a sexy cricketer and a bit of a bad boy!
-
15 min down hill walk in the morning - 20 min uphill in the evening! It's so much better than my old 40 min drive (13 miles) down the M1 in Nottingham (UK), until yesterday when there was a thunderstorm - got a tad damp on the way home!

This is exactly why I love spring!
