You have no reason to worry about bulking. :). Just eat lots of veggies and get your protein from whole food sources.

When I was cutting calories to lose weight I was eating 2250 calories a day and losing 2-3 lbs a week. I'm 22 yrs old 5'11" and 172 now. I was working out 5 days a week lifting weights all 5 days. Doing 90 minutes of cardio a week. Your body is still growing. It needs more calories. And now that I think back on it I wish I…

I wouldn't be annoyed. I actually offer to spot people because I'd rather people not get hurt lol. And I often need a spotter since I have no friends to lift with.

I'm a night shift nurse as well. It's the days that I'm off that cause me problems. I feel like I'm hungry all during the day and wake up at3 am starving even if I ate just prior to bed lol. I just drink tons of water and track from midnight to midnight as a previous poster said. I eat at least 300 grams of carbs a day and…

Then I would start cutting now. And make sure you lift just as heavy when cutting to retain muscle, but expect to lose strength. That's all part of the cycle lol
-
That's personal preference. I prefer to bulk for two months and cut for no longer than two months. No matter how much I gain. I don't like letting myself get too chunky lol

What about the people who use intermittent fasting to lower their body fat percentage? It's all about calories in vs calories out

Check out http://scoobysworkshop.com/. All free info and he has 100's of videos for you to watch. Eating at a deficit will greatly hinder your muscle gains. You have to eat at a calorie surplus to gain muscle. Since you're fairly new to lifting you can expect noob gains, however, the gains will not always come so quickly.…

Sadly, there's no such thing as spot reduction. Meaning there's no way to lose fat in a target area. In order to get the flat stomach you want your going to have to eat at a calorie deficit. You can do this through just dieting or diet and exercise.

I'm moving into my own place this weekend and i'll be cancelling my gym membership as well. I've saved up some money for a set of weights. I don't even have a couch to put in the house yet :p Who needs one of those?
-
Keep doing them both in combination. Doing 20 minutes of cardio a day is not going to hurt you at all and it's recommended to keep a healthy heart. Remember, your heart is also a muscle :) Just make sure you are eating enough and you won't have any problems :)

Try loading up on water the day before you run to see if that helps out.

I'm gonna have a banana right before work and then some cantaloupe and watermelon on my break. I don't even care if I go over on my sugar.
-
I use Super Advanced Whey Protein. But that's because it's cheap.

My go to snacks for high protein are whey protein or a can of tuna.

I used to have a love life, then I took an arrow to the knee.
