So the local musical theater director will actually LOOK at me during dance auditions and see that I'm a good dancer instead of writing me off as "the jiggly one."

Cubes or balls. Cut it into quarters then just dice the flesh into squares and put it in a container in the fridge, or cut it in half and use a melon baller.

I find it tastes completely different from regular yogurt in a way I prefer. It's not nearly as sweet, though it does feel pretty chalky, almost like it has alum in it. That doesn't bother me. Plus the calorie increase is sometimes just in the flavored versions with the added fruit and syrup: Fage 0% is 100 calories for…

I'm fully aware that I'm going to need to eat a surplus to look good when I reach my goal weight. I'm not going to look good at my goal weight because my body behaves like silly putty and I'm going to look like a puddle of goo still. It just seems like a good benchmark.

I've been wondering this, too. I spent three months sick in bed a few years ago and have very little muscle mass, but I don't really see a reason to try to regain it until I finish losing my weight.

When I make cheesecake, the recipes I usually use call for four 8oz blocks of cream cheese. I just make two of those blocks fat free, one block reduced fat, and one block regular. It's impossible to tell the difference and, while still pretty darn bad for you, isn't nearly as bad as it could be. I usually cut down on the…

I tend not to consciously save up for anything: I usually eat breakfast however I want, then plug in my dinner right after and figure out my lunch from there. Sometimes I end up with a lot of extra calories and either have a wine or beer or a big spoon of peanut butter (often while cheerily shouting "IT FITS MY MACROS"…

A 12oz iced coffee with milk is made with around 8oz of coffee and 4oz of milk. A 12oz iced latte is made with around 1.5oz of espresso and 10.5oz of milk. The exact numbers may be off, but the idea is the same: the latte is mostly milk while the coffee is mostly coffee.

Currently: 5'8", 156lbs Goal: 5'6", 145lbs I have a feeling only one of those numbers is going to change...

Don't stop eating them, but be educated about them.

In all seriousness, I'm guessing boy for no real reason. Hope it's healthy!

Unless you have some kind of medical condition (say, dwarfism), you should probably be eating at least 1200 calories per day to get enough nutrition to survive long term.

Oh, I just read that you wake up several times during the night. This can make you feel sleepy during the day. Try ZzzQuil, it's like NyQuil but only has the sleep aid. It didn't work for me, but I have several friends who swear by it. You could try to train your body to sleep through the night and eventually go off it.

I've been having a similar problem. I've been eating the 1400 recommended to me for the last two months, but over the last two weeks I've been really sleepy all the time. I have low blood pressure, which can make me tired, and was told to eat more salt. What does your salt intake look like?

It depends on who you ask. Lots of girls are great friends with boys, who then go out and complain to their guy friends about being friendzoned. I know it goes the other way, too, but being a girl I see it more from this side.

I don't have any trigger foods... Well, Nutella, but it's really easy to just not buy it. ETA: I'm not saying avoid rice or whatever the topic is actually about. Just that some of us don't have control issues.

My family takes care of my 90 year old grandmother with worsening dementia. We were taking turns caring for her with my aunt in two month stretches, but her husband recently died after a long fight with cancer so we've had her for nearly a year. She remembers everything up to the last ten years more or less perfectly,…

I tried on a pair of boot-cut jeans in a US size 10 and they were a bit too big. Then I tried on a pair of straight-leg jeans in the same size by the same brand and couldn't get them over my thighs. The only thing that was supposed to be different was the fit from the knees down. Clothes are weird.

Beer. Went to my favorite pizza place that's 3 hours away but didn't think I'd have the calories for both the pizza and the beer, plus I thought I'd have to drive back home. Ended up having enough calories and didn't have to drive...

I've been on the forums for probably two weeks and I've learned one thing: Everyone on these forums is rude and nasty about everything. They often have legitimate points, but usually say them in the meanest way possible.

Baby carrots with hummus is so. Freaking. Good.

True. I try to avoid tanning at all. I've broken a bone.

False. I've visited another continent.

5'8", currently at 156 from 165. My goal is 145. That'll put me at a BMI of 22, size six, and in the middle of my healthy weight range. Seems like a good goal to me. Once I hit that I'm going to try to regain some muscle strength because mine atrophied when I was really sick several years ago and I never regained them. I'm…

These sound so good... A little tip to make your cupcakes rise: preheat the oven to 375 instead of 350, then as soon as you put the cupcakes in turn it down to 350. When you open the door, lots of heat comes out and the internal temperature drops, causing the cupcakes to never rise properly. I do this will all of my baking…

The answer is always peanut butter.

Most diet sodas taste like battery acid to me. The only ones I can stomach are Coke Zero and Dr. Pepper Ten, but I normally don't drink those because I kicked soda a decade before they came out. Only when I want caffeine but don't feel like making more coffee.
