Any more than 20 calories a day will put you out of ketosis whether it is drink or food. Crystal light singles are ok as they only have 5 to 10 calories a serving, or a little skim milk in coffee with a sweetener. Other than that diet drinks only.

Oh yes I've also lost 30 pounds on this in 5 weeks on the program 4 weeks on shakes. 8 weeks of shakes left and a transition to a 1200 diet afterwards with loads of exercise. I'm new to this site so I apologize if I'm not using the bards properly...haha

I am on this program and it's a medically supervised program with weekly meeting and weigh ins along with doctor visits, regular blood work etc. You basically go to school for 26 weeks to learn a lifestyle change. I've been on the program for 5 weeks, 4 on shakes and have lost 30 pounds. It's a great starting point but I agree with the other poster that when transitioning you must exercise because you are going from 900 to 1200 calories a day. It's difficult but once you get into a routine things get easier.
