Strawberry Spinach Salad with almonds and minced onion. I like raspberry vinaigrette or poppyseed dressing with it. It’s a simple salad and tastes wonderful. It’s also low calorie.

I bake fish often. A recipe I created is: Four filets (usually white fish, tilapia or cod) squeeze fresh lemon juice on each then spoon topping on filets and bake until fish flakes. Use just enough butter to make the panko crumbly. Add seasoning to taste. Cover fish and bake. The thinner the fish, the quicker it bakes, so…

Try a new vegetable each week, and you’ll find what tastes good. I acquired a taste for a few vegetables. My children were never picky eaters, therefore it caused me to expand my palate. I tried different recipes until I found ones my family found appealing.

I enjoy half a serving of salted roasted almonds most days. It’s 85 calories. My soda stream has also been a good investment. I drink much much more water now. I flavor it with fresh lemons, sometimes fresh lemons and blueberries or fresh grapefruit. It has cut my craving for soda. ..

MFP worked for me. I am back at it again. I would like to slim down 10 lbs to start. I have found it easier to start with small goals. Larger numbers are too daunting and seem unachieveabe. I would like to give and get support from the MFP community. Please add me to your friend list if you like!

Sign me up! Challenges are most helpful to me. I'd like to lose a bit more than 9, but this will get me on my way. I haven't been exercising regularly of late. I Will get straight back to my walking routine of 4-5 times a week.

Honeycrisp apples are the best! I enjoy one a day year around, but they are the best tasting in the fall as this is apple season.
