Healthy deviled eggs: hard boil eggs as usual, cut in half, save half of yolks and toss the rest, use mashed avocado instead of mayo. Salt and pepper to taste. Easy healthy and delicious.

Tape measure is better than a scale. Ive had trainers tell me to throw my scale away because it is such a poor indicator of progress.

Don't let that get you down. I once lost 5 percent body far but my weight in pounds didn't budge bc of the muscle. I lost eight lbs of fat and didn't know it.

Best way is to have an expert do it using calipers. Check gyms in your area. There are other ways but not as accurate. Measure every month. Another benefit is you can see exactly where the fat is coming off. For example my first place to lose is triceps. It's a great motivator to see results.

Instead of having a goal weight, have a % body fat goal. If you are lifting weights, your weight may well increase even though you are losing fat.

Glancing over your diary it seems that it's not that you eat a lot of food, its that the food you eat is calorically dense. it would help you stay within your goals if you incorporated more vegetables in your diet. Instead of a PB&J sandwhich, make a smoothie with 1 Tbsp of natural peanut butter, half of a frozen banana, a…

I agree. The bf% is everything. I simultaneously lost 8 lbs of fat and put on 8 lbs of muscle (which according to my trainer was very fast for a woman)- so there was no net change in my body weight, but i was swimming in my clothes! i shrunk! i looked the bulkiest when i had less muscles and higher bf%. Now after…

i agree, muscular legs are more attractive to me than bird legs. I've always had muscular legs and wouldn't trade them for anything!

Killing myself working out yet still gaining weight. It's not muscle b'c I am struggling to fit into my clothes, half of my wardrobe is now useless to me. I started back on here and see that it's my diet holding me back, that is going to change!

Absolutely, I'm sure those women are "her girls"... they weren't at all meant to be human accessories for her new "look". The fact that for the most part their faces weren't shown during the performance I'm sure was a mistake. And that she pretended to do sexual acts to them as if she was in charge and they were in service…

For me the most offensive part of her performance was her use of women of color as "props".

i got light headed just looking at what you are surviving on. Your goal is to be healthy so that you can enjoy life more. That's a great goal... eating this little and not doing any sort of physical activity (unless you do and just don't log it- in which case you are being even more unhealthy in placing demands on your…

be kind and patient to yourself!! be kind to your body and listen to it! I was never a runner as a kid. I'd struggle to run one mile. Over the years i sort of became a runner able to run 45-50 minutes no stops. one day i decided to push myself and run 75 minutes no stopping to see if I could do it. I did do it, and messed…

Don't be afraid of weights. Talk to a trainer and really learn about the fundamentals of weight training. I had been doing strictly cardio for years and my weight never budged- actually if it did it would increase! I took a few personal training sessions and really payed attention and it changed my life. The foundation…
