Plateau

I started my weight loss journey about 1 year ago and slowly lost 25 lbs over the first 6 months. Just before the holidays I started to plateau and have yet to start losing again. I have increased the number of days and length of time that I exercise. In the last month I've added some gentle weight training to my cardio routine. I've also eat back all my exercise calories and have tried to have some days when I eat about 200-300 more than my allotted calories in an attempt to keep my metabolism guessing. Luckily I have not gained any of the 25 lbs back, but I have not been losing either.
What other suggestions do you have to help me bust this plateau and get the weight falling off again?

Don't be afraid of weights. Talk to a trainer and really learn about the fundamentals of weight training. I had been doing strictly cardio for years and my weight never budged- actually if it did it would increase! I took a few personal training sessions and really payed attention and it changed my life. The foundation they gave me allowed me to research/ teach myself weight lifting techniques (personal trainers out of my budget!) and pay attention to form/ avoid injuries. I am proud to say that since I started weight training (4 months ago) i dropped 17 lbs of fat and gained 2 lbs of muscle. Went from being the girl who struggled with a gallon of milk (lol) to benching 50 lbs- maybe not a lot for some but an accomplishment for me! And you wont 'bulk up' from lifting weights- terrible misinformation. Talk to a (good) trainer ASAP.
