I have a polar F40 and under the same position as OP^ I don't want to run and get another one (expensive), but I want to know where I am on my heart zones and calories burned. My polar says "transmitter error at times" and the heart rate is all over the place....

I Am confused. I have not been losing weight for the last week or so. I am netting less than 1200 because I am burning 500-900 calories per day at times. Should I be consuming more? How can I know how many calories to eat in order for my stubborn metabolism to burn fat and lose weight? Please help?????

Okay guys and gals, thanks a bunch, truly appreciate the insight. Yes, my HRM is a Polar one. It asks me for VO2Max, age, gender, height, and weight. I will assume that it is correct then. The same walk gives me 900 calories for 2 hours about 6 mile walk. My friend with diff. info. gets about 550. I started to doubt my…

Same concern as OP. My heart rate monitor say 900 for a 2 hour walk at 2.7, and MFP say 550. I walk with a friend that also uses a HRM and she gets 500. Why so much variance? Which is the true calories burned? Help?

How accurate are HRM with a strap? My friend and I are taking the same class, but we burn very different calories 550 vs. 950??

I was doing WW online, but found this site so much better and free. I am keeping my calories at the recommended amount and exercising. No special diet, and I have felt so empowered... I had to drop WW because I couldn't keep login foods there and here.

Hello Team, Just finished my 3 mile slow walk and did my level 1 shred it, and not the 30 day shred (bought the wrong one)...I am sore already..Let's see how I feel tomorrow...

I went to Walmart and purchased the 30 day shred with weights, it comes with Levels 1 and 2 for 30 minutes, is it the same thing? I don't I want to return since I want to start tonight, what y'all think?

OK, today is the 1st. I will do level 1 this evening. My starting weight is 196lb. My mini goal is to drop 2lbs this week and get through level1. I'm aiming to workout everyday using 30ds. What are your goals?

Keep up the good work, I second that consistency is key. This is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. It takes time to gain the weight, and it will take time and patience to lose it. I know that you can do it! Keep up the good work.
