You are right my goal is to be healthy. I've taken measurements they are the same too. I even took pics to see if my body shape has changed it hasn't.. I weigh my food etc to get a true calorie reading.

Yes in 2010 i completed an 8 mile assault course in Dorest courtesy of Votwo events called the Kamikaze.. I expected to finish last but i didn't so i was dead chuffed!! i was about 10th from last :laugh: Check this out http://www.votwo.co.uk/events-1/kamikaze-adventure-run-dorset-2012 so awesome!!

I'd like to add you if you don't mind i've just started lifting (very lightly lol) and would be good to get some more lifting friends. I've taken measurements and also started some core strength training.

Warburtons square wraps as pizza bases 159 calories and delish! Also instead of rice with Curries and Pasta's i have salad. People thin I'm mad but with things like Jalfreizi (excuse spelling mistakes) i cook up peppers, onions and mushrooms and serve it with a mixed leaf salad instead of rice it's very yummy!

1) have checked where i am going on holiday has a gym 2) on first name terms with all gym staff! 3) sit at work planning what classes i can do after work as the morning session was too long ago!

Then do just that, It's better to do something you enjoy then something you begrudge as you won't get motivated. Defo speak to a PT and get a plan made for you.. Best thing i did!

I know a girl on here who lifts and uses her FT4 while lifting. I tell you something when i lift some weight i can feel my pulse working harder then on the running machine.. Just keep at it and maybe look on the polar website for some more advice. I just found out my cheap £5 HRM does work i just have to wait a minute…

I know what you mean I would like to know what i burn from just walking (purposefully walking not just a leisurely stroll) my dad is on MFP and he plays golf he uses the MFP guide for his cals burned. I have had a fitbit it was too intelligent for me. Told me how many calories i had burned just sitting still it then…

Keep at it.. When i first started MFP i didn't eat much and wasn't hungry.. After nearyl 3 months now I actually have an appetite and I am starting to enjoy food again. Do you exercise? I try and exercise 4-5 times a week that helps with the hunger for me!

Thanks guys yea I am currently saving for the FT4 but using this £5 one in the mean time. I did get a full refund for the fitbit but have since spent the money from the refund on something else lol!!

Rubbish! Didn't track steps and when clipped to my bra was highly visible! and then stopped working.
