I never used to care about fashion before. If I had to purchase a piece of clothing I was not bothered about the style or how flattering it was to my shape. It was merely about appropriately covering my body even if it looked like a gunny sack. Now that I can see my waist taking shape and my legs looking better, I seem to…

I used to HATE the summer heat, even when it was moderate. I never slept with more than a light sheet in the winter...now I sleep with full length pyjamas, sheets, a duvet and a hot pack!!

WOW....just WOW....I would never have thought you were the same person! What fantastic results. You look amazing and really happy. What was your diet like?

What an amazing story. Thank you for sharing so candidly.

Girl...that looks like way more than 27 pounds! You've obviously lost a ton of inches, too. Way to go!

When you fold the top of your pants over so many times that the crotch can't go any further up without causing serious damage and the pants are STILL too loose. When the neckline of your blouse is now well below your bra and everyone gets a free show When your form fitting underwear flaps in the wind

You've got some mad muscles happening in your legs =D

I eat my breakfast at work - usually oatmeal or English muffin with egg. I have a morning and afternoon snack - either fruit or veggies and my lunch is leftovers from dinner. Along with tons of water, I am full until dinner.

My lunch today is eggplant pizza. Instead of a crust, I slice up eggplant (about 1 1/2 - 2 inches thick) and sprinkle a few drops of olive oil and some salt and pepper. Bake in the oven until soft to the touch. Top with sauce and whatever toppings you like. Super easy!

mine's embarrassing....an elephant's penis! lol

Amazing work! Btw, are you standing in the same doorway in both pictures? Your lost inches are so much more "visible" as we can see more of what's behind you in your after picture!
-
you look great! your picture looks like you've probably lost a lot of inches, too. keep it up!

Totally agree. I use spaghetti squash a lot. It tastes great and it really absorbs the flavour of whatever you top it with. It's fairly cheap and one squash goes a long way.

Amazing results! I'm also very conscious of the stretch marks on my tummy. May I ask how old they are? I'm just wondering if Mederma only works on "newer" stretch marks.

It looks like more than 20 pounds - You must've lost a lot of inches, too. Great work!!

I roast my veggies with just olive oil, salt and pepper. Every time I bring this to work people ooh and aah over the smell. You can also use prepared spices such as Mrs.Dash - there's a whole line of different flavour profiles. The other thing I like to use is Italian seasoning. It's usually a mix of oregano, thyme and…

That's an amazing feeling. Use that as a momentum to keep going further. You've come so far already! Congrats!

I like this idea! I think I'll try to implement it - it's good to know how many servings the recipe will yield.

I love tea, but I drink it with milk and sugar. When I used to have problems getting water into my body, I started using Mio flavouring. It adds just a slightest bit of flavour but it helps to get you used to the idea of drinking more. I started with just one drop and then decreased it to half and eventually stopped all…

Weight lost: 53 pounds Method: First 15 pounds was low calorie diet and increase in my water intake. The rest is from cutting junk food, choosing healthier recipes, eating a TON more veggies and fruits, and using MFP to watch the calorie intake. Exercise only started a few months ago.

this sounds delicious! no need to add vanilla?

bump for later

I used to do this, too! I managed to figure out the precisely optimum ratio of milk to powder such that it wasn't a gooey paste but chocolate milk with lots of lumps. If only I had put that much effort into other things!

been there, done that...many times.

This! I also never used to look at myself in mirrors or allow anyone to take my picture and now I spend a few moments in front of the mirror to give myself a once over and see if I can notice more changes.

I can't afford to buy new workout gear right now, so I have to make do with what I've got. When I go for walks, I wear a light weight sweat-wicking jacket (workout wear from Lane Bryant) that goes down to about mid-thigh. Even though my pants are rolling down and exposing my tummy, the jacket more than covers it. And if I…
