Going on special diets or drinking weight loss shakes are a recipe for disaster. Eat what you are supposed to eat (get enough calories and right nutrition) and you will be fine. Eat below TDEE but never below BMR. The only shakes you need to drink are protein shakes to go along with strength training to help build muscle.

WOW!!! You have just inspired me to really focus on lifting more. My arms are like yours were, but ten times worse in the flappy part. I have been searching for ways to tighten skin and all. I didnt' realize lifting could make that much of a difference. Thanks for posting!

I like them just right. If they are too tight I feel obese again. It reminds me of when it was time to buy another bigger size. When they are too loose, it reminds me of how big I was. I feel "dumpy" when my pants hang. It's hard because I just can't seem to find ones that fit me perfectly anymore!

I had to work my way into it. I lost about twenty pounds just by lowering calorie intake, then I joined a gym and started off by walking the treadmill. After a few weeks of that I started Zumba and worked my way up to harder fitness classes.

Okay so you don't like protein shakes, but have you ever tried the powder mixed with something else? Like in a recipe? Some people use it in pancake recipes and such. I am sure it could be googled.
