Single. Like it some of the time, okay with it most of the time, hate it and lonely some of the time. After being with one person for over 33 years, two thirds of my life, and married for almost 30 before she sadly died, being single again takes a bit of getting used to. I'm ready not to be single but whatever will be will…

I got a new bike, well it was second hand but new to me, at the beginning of October and have done 434 miles on it since then, mostly commuting to work for my night shift 3-5 times a week. In November I want to exceed 500 miles on it. I am also signed up to run my first ever 'proper' race on the 25th, it's only a 5k but…

Amazing and inspiring transformation, congratulations. Be safe on that bike.

His dad very happy.

I first read the title of this thread as 'My kid has more legs than your kid' and thought WTF! :noway: I realise my mistake now, as you were.
-
I love it when that happens, especially when they have to look twice before they actually recognise you. Congratulations on a great NSV.

I was a little heavier than your weight when I started the C25K, after doing nothing that could be described as running for about 30 years, and it was tough at first but stick with it and you'll get there. Doesn't matter if you repeat weeks, doesn't matter if you repeat a week several times it will all build up. I've now…

Amazing transformation, you look like a totally different person. Congratulations.

No, I cleaned when I was fat, I still clean now. I only log the exercise I didn't do when I was fat, the other stuff is just what needs doing to live a normal life.

Whad'ya know, I've been all of those things in my lifetime.

Yep, that's my Sunday. It's 3:30pm here and I'm more than half done. Music on, internet nearby for those slack minutes between chopping, cooking and waiting on stuff, nice cup of coffee, or two, and it's all good. Beef Stew in one pot and Hearty Chicken Barley and Root Vegetable Soup in another coming together nicely at…

Boobs! Hey, I'm a bloke, it's in our DNA so don't hate. :blushing: :flowerforyou: Unless you only ever spoken to them by email, text or telephone then it's always going to be looks that initially spark an interest. Personality then decides if that interest blooms or fades away.

On average I have been drinking around 3 litres a day for the past 7 or so months, it varies depending on the amount of exercise, and it has in no way hindered weight loss. I haven't got to teh stage during any of that where my urine is clear, it's normally sort of straw coloured.

One! Just one? :noway: Can't do it, that would be like choosing which of my children is my favourite. It's either all of them or I tough it out alone.
-
Amazing transformation, congratulations.

I haven't eliminated any food group, in fact there's very little I have eliminated completely since I started this. I don't do all the macro tracking either, I just get a good balance of protein, carbs, fats and dairy through portion control and the amount of space each takes up on my plate. Hasn't stopped, or hindered, me…

This thread is just a load of cr*p.

Congratulations, that is an awesome NSV. I bet you'll be posting about getting under 35 minutes before you know it.
-
Amazing and inspirational, congratulations.
-
No. That's all.
-
Amazing, awesome, fantastic, inspirational, dedicated, incredible... Oh heck there just aren't enough words to describe what you have done. Congratulations. I notice you are smiling in the first pic and smiling in the last pic but it's a totally different smile in the last pic and says it all about your journey.

I'm 52 and exercise 5 - 6 times a week, a combination of the gym, running and cycling. Six months ago I would sweat buckets and get sore from walking round the supermarket and when I first started going to them gym there was pain, oh so much pain. Now there isn't so much, although still have days when my thighs complain…

Sandals Dude? For a workout? Really?

Water. I've gone over on calories during this but never missed the recommended minimum water intake.

After reading some of the definitions of old I'm ready to call the cemetery and book a plot. :noway:  *Wanders of muttering to himself like a mad old geezer. :grumble:
-
I drink around 3 litres of tap water a day, today is going to be closer to 4 litres, and if there is a day I drink way less than that I don't feel as good and as I don't do the macro tracking thing it is more important to me to log my water intake. I feel it is an important benefit to me on my journey and to keep me well…

I've posted this one previously but I love it so I'm posting it again. Don't often use the bath tub in this apartment, prefer the shower and probably only used it 6 or 7 times in the 2 years I've been here. I did a long bike ride, 42 miles, a couple of weeks ago and decided to have a bath to soak my tired legs. Filled the…

They could put the money the a lot of the Packer's players are going to get fined for their tweets toward the referees offer.

I log it, gotta keep it honest.
