I long for the day when I can cross my legs like a girl! WTG! :)

That's fantastic!

I'm a 44DDD (44F) and this is the one I use: http://www.amazon.com/Glamorise-Womens-Bounce-Support-Sport/dp/B0035WTMF4 I love it! The price was great too. Mine was $19...can't beat that. It also helps with the sweat coming down from my neck and under a tank top, looks like just an extra layered top. :)

I don't have cheat days, but then again I don't exactly restrict anything full out either. I'm learning portion control and moderation. What used to be 3-6 cans of soda a day have now been reduced to one can every other day or maybe even just once a week. I used to eat my full meal when I'd go to a restaurant. Now I type…

Add me to that list of needing to drop 100lbs! My current goal is 50, because 100 feels so far away that I am afraid I'll become discouraged. 5'6" SW- 267 CW-258 1st GW- 210 2nd GW- 155-160 We can do this!

Here are mine: "You have a choice. You can throw in the towel or use it to wipe the sweat off your face." (Gatorade) "The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start." John Bingham "It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great!" (A…

I love this! :)

This explanation trumps the board I JUST finished reading which almost had me convinced to stop eating my exercise calories. Thanks to the info provided by the OP, I am going to maintain what I've been doing: eating back my exercise calories! :)
-
Wow...I have been at this almost a month now and this whole time I have been eating back my exercise calories. I have lost about 7 lbs in a little under 4 weeks, but they came off in the first two weeks and I haven't seen the scale move much since (up and down, but on average at the same weight). Reading the above posts…

Thanks for the suggestion...I'll look into monkey butt (haha nice product name)

Haha, love that!

I was walking at a fast pace with running thrown in here and there. No, the chafing is where the two cheeks meet (TMI?) I don't know if maybe sweat is the cause of the irritation? I normally do between 1-2 miles when I tackle the treadmill and occasionally will do 2-3 miles. I need to up the distance though, since I signed…

It was not until I read this response that I figured out what TOM means on other threads!! Awesome. I have always referred to it as Martha, but TOM makes more sense  My goal for this week is to exercise while on vacation this weekend! My hotel has a gym and my pre-MFP days I would have scoffed at the idea…

***My "healthy" eating habits pre-MFP were not really all that healthy! ***It is not always worth the 150 cal to have that can of soda when I could use those towards dinner that night ***It feels like I've hit the jackpot when I finish logging my exercise and my GREEN allowance has gone in the 4 digits again for the day.…

Find something more challenging then your usual walk at least 3x a week. Jump rope, swim, sprint for 30 seconds every 3 minutes of walking, or take a fun cardio class at the gym (if you have a membership). My favorite is Turbo Kick Boxing. Burns almost my entire days worth of calories and I have a lot of fun doing it.…

Yay for your first 5K! Try not to be too concerned with whether your time is "good" or not when compared to other racers. They are all pursuing their own goals. Take a few test runs where you really push yourself, see what you come up with, and then subtract a minute from the lowest result. That will give you something to…

The first weekend of March I was in San Diego and my friend wanted to do the Segway Safari tour at the zoo. It sounded so much fun! However, being a "bigger" girl has taught me to always call in with this question before embarking on an adventure. The question was: ---Is there a weight limit or restriction? The rep on the…

Thanks everyone! I love doing the 5Ks, even though during them I want to die (haha). My fantasy is to one day be that girl with the perfect ponytail swoosh while she is running along the side of the road or on the treadmill next to you. I love the idea of running...I just need to convince my body that it will love it too,…

Good job to anyone and everyone who has been able to quit soda. I seriously have tried and it is the hardest thing I've ever done. The longest I've gone was 30 days. To celebrate, I had a soda. *yikes!* Here I am 18 months later and I've not been able to give it up for more than 5 days consistently. Although I will say…

CW- 258 GW- 210 Once I get to 210, I'll start a new goal! :)

That is fantastic!! Great job! :)

I'm so excited for you!! My advice? Try a 5K now :) Even if you cannot run the entire time, just finishing is a fantastic feeling. I completed 5 of them last year and even though my times were not anywhere near running speeds, I also did not just walk the entire thing either. I would mix up jogging with running and…

In January of 2011, I started an intense workout schedule. I didn't get my period for 4 months. It wasn't until my workouts started to slow down and become farther and farther apart that my period came. It was definitely frustrating because prior to that I had never really experienced being irregular. I feel your…
