  • Eat them back or go to your profile and change your activity level to accurately reflect you workout regimen.
  • You get your ID scanned when purchasing pseudophedrines because people use them to make meth. You are only allowed to buy a certain quantity per two week interval. The finger scanning at a gym, kind of weird I'll give you that.
  • Until I'm bored? If you can handle more than 90 seconds, I suggest you try a harder variety (feet on bench, one arm up, one leg up, arms on swiss ball, or some combination of these). Also, holding a plank while doing a cable pull down is a crazy challenge to the core.
  • Fiber bars. Fiber cereal. Fiber pancakes. Anything that's got that added fiber crab effs me right up.
  • Sadly, I see girls walking around campus (large university) on a regular basis that I suspect are suffering from EDs.
  • Well I'm not afraid to answer this honestly. I see women and think they are "too skinny" when their elbows are protruding bones, when their thighs are so thin they bow inwards from their knees and hips, and when you can count their ribs when they aren't sucking their stomachs in.
  • That "other worldly" beauty of Hollywood comes from manipulation of make-up and photoshop. Most of the celebs look pretty average when they wake up in the morning.
  • While I agree that lifting is always a good idea, 4'11" and 150# is significantly overweight and focusing on lifting and completely ignoring the scale isn't a good idea. I agree with SideSteel, 1350 might not be a bad net number for your size but chances are you aren't actually staying under this number. Track consistently…
  • Aw *kitten* are you telling me my husband secretly likes men? That's so weird because my gigantic boobs really make me resemble little boys..... Anyway, what a lame list. I have no idea what "trendy sweats" are (like, velour track suits??). Bright colors and patters are awesome and express personality. And I wear my ankle…
  • Frankly it's the only accurate way to judge serving sizes. Think of chips: I could get a lot more crushed chips into a cup than I could whole chips, but 5 crushed chips weighs the same as 5 whole chips.
  • I've yet to meet someone in a size 8 that "looks sick". People say that because they are used to seeing you at a particular size. An (American) size 6 or 8 is not tiny.
  • Lifting nerd here. I've got a PhD in chemistry and am currently finishing up NROL Supercharged. In a cut right now for the bodybuilding.com 100k challenge.
  • No because I'm an intelligent human being who controls my own actions. If I have a craving, I satiate it without going absolutely bonkers. A few pieces of dark chocolates for a sweet craving, airpopped popcorn for a salt craving.
  • Pumpernickel with spinach dip
  • wh ...... Well established fact? 9 people out of 10 on this site and bodybuilding.com put themselves at unreasonably low bf%s. That woman is 25% at absolute minimum, most definitely not "lower 20s" ETA: Seriously this is true even for me. I tell myself I'm at 20 but in reality when I look at unflexed photos I look more…
  • Lol okay, so then not seriously ;-)
  • Even this is untrue. Calorie deficit determines how much and how fast you lose weight. You can achieve any degree of calorie deficit without cardio. Cardio only helps mentally by allowing you to create a deficit while still eating more. If you want to do cardio so you can eat more food, find something you enjoy. Play a…
  • 5'5" 135-140ish. I eat ~2200 calories to maintain my weight, ~2600 to gain muscle, ~1700-1800 to lose fat. I lift full body 3 times per week and play hockey once a week as my only cardio.
  • The recommended daily amount of sodium is 1,500 g. Sodium in no way will help you gain fat or muscle.
  • Seriously? Sample size in the fashion world LITERALLY means the size that a sample of clothing is made in. A designer only makes a few samples of an outfit that they plan on marketing to show on the runway. They don't make every single garment in 20 sizes. Those garments are hand sewn and usually cost a few thousands of…
  • No, she's probably in the 28-30 range. Well proportioned though. People on here seem to really underestimate their own (and consequently others') bf%.
  • I could not exercise with Sciatica pain. Unless you count swimming. Swimming helps because of the repetitive stretching whilst not putting any extra pressure on the spine.
  • She's an adult and can do as she pleases. Don't enable the behavior in ways you have control. Don't supply the cigs. If she's staying with you, don't let her smoke on your property (not just in your house). Other than that, you have no say. Think to yourself, is this argument really something you want to have with your…
  • I'm not skinny at a size 4. Skinny is more to do with body comp that size. I was around an 8 on the left, 2 in the middle, 4 on the right
  • Jean size depends so highly on brand that setting goals by it is pointless. I happen to like the way American Eagle jeans fit me. I'm in their size 4 right now and happy with it. I'd like to drop a little bit more fat from the thighs, love handles, and stomach though. If that drops me to a size 2, I'll be sad because then…
  • I would say, about 6 weeks to lose 11 pounds. Seriously, you ARE losing weight. I don't think you're doing it the right way (too little food, too much exercise, eventually you will stall out) but a rate of almost 2 pounds per week is considered excellent by most people.
  • Just keep in mind that (1) She's a paid endorser. (2) She is a celebrity who's entire world revolves around her persona and can dedicate much more time and money to fitness than your average joe and (3) a good chunk of that weight loss number is the actual weight of the babies, and increased metabolism due to…
  • Most nations do not have laws about calorie restriction. It's a personal choice. What you are probably asking is, will taking a day off of tracking undo or limit my results? The answer depends on how often you take this "one day" and how crazy you go on that "one day". One day a week where you eat 5000 calories can very…
  • 1. Most BF% measurements are bogus. 2. You can gain fat and go down in body fat percentage if you gain more muscle than fat (possible for brand new to lifting young men). If you originally weight 125 pounds with 100 pounds of muscle and 25 pounds of fat, you'd have a bf% of 20%. You then gained 8 pounds, 7 of which are…
