Haggis I love it (from Scotland) but it has a huge amount of calories. Wine, not that calorific, but in the quantities I drink, it is!

Although not at a normal weight, within one week of doing RI30, I'd lost an inch off my waist and an inch off each thigh. I started RI30 immediately after finishing 30 days consecutive of 30 Day Shred. I'm definitely in better shape. My 5 year old complains I'm not squidgy enough any more (I am plenty squidgy).

When I was pregnant I craved diet Coke mixed with soda water with plenty ice (think a cinema diet coke). All the rest of the time I drink Sugar Free Irn Bru or normal Irn Bru (kicks Coke/Pepsi's *kitten* IMO). Probably about 1 glass a week. I prefer plain water, cordial or wine!

I have black americano topped up with hot water from the machine at work. When they installed the machine about a year ago, I stopped drinking instant altogether.

That is a good idea. I've been having a pint glass of no added sugar Robinsons cordial with plenty of ice and a straw for my nightly tipple...living the dream!

Thank you for your replies. I've cut the bread/rice/potatoes out for the first few weeks only. I have been having one or two oatcakes in the evening and plenty of veg and fruit daily, so I've not banished carbs.
