I lost about 50lbs while my husband was deployed a couple years ago [with the help of MFP!] and have since hit a plateau. I am 22, 5'6, and my current weight is 255. Starting weight was 309. My short term goal is 249lbs. [because I don't remember ever being under 250!!] I want to get to 175lbs in the long run and who knows…

I agree with the measurements thing. I've lost 31lbs and haven't seen a real difference in my body. I have noticed my face has changed, but it could be just me being happier. =] I have lost a good amount of inches! You're doing great keep it up!

Within an hour of moving to California from Texas I saw a bus going down the highway (101 coming north from LAX) at about 95-100mph with about 5 or so teenagers smoking out of a pipe including the driver of course... =/ .................and it almost made me miss the Lamborghini Diablo driving by. >=/

My husband does that all the time. He's military so he always has to be clean-shaved and when he forgets to shave it comes in handy.
