Feel free to add me as a friend and we can motivate each other. I'm also a nurse and this stressful profession keeps me in a whirlwind where I'm eating from exhaustion, never finding time to track my intake and definitely not drinking enough water. Goal this year to help heal myself…not just my patients.

Instead of relying on the scale…

Having to limit water intake because we can't take time for a bathroom break at work is really difficult and frustrating! We have contemplated having a contest to see who has the fullest hat when we can finally take breaks!

Good question! As long as I psych myself into wanting my workout I will make it to the gym after work! I have to remember that I always feel better afterwards and I can handle stress better when i work out. Luckily for me most of the snacks are at the other end of the wing and so as long as I keep busy and avoid the snack…

I like to hit the gym after work and, unfortunately, find the need to vent a little when I get home. Luckily my sweetheart is a nurse too and he usually has a little venting to do himself.
