  • I have a 3 y.o., very energetic boxer/pit rescue. A typical day in crappy weather wewalk about 3 mi or take 4 walks. Nicer days, I'll take him on a longer hour walk for another 3 miles. We avg about 4 miles a day. Wears me out, but he could go all day. Took him to training so he'd stop pulling and it was a lot of hard work…
  • Had to skip yesterday cuz I was too sore, but I'm ready to go today! My abs have been in pain since day 1, but hopefully that means the pudge is leaving me
  • Because it's a 30-day commitment, I've had to do it in front of my friends and family or I wouldn't get it done. After a minute or so they lose interest. Plus, I crank the music up & Jillian's annoying voice down. If you're not doing it, just looks like you're doing jumping jacks to music and some push ups. We know it's…
  • Today is my 5th Day, on Level 1, Day 5 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (for those of u who asked). This is my second time doing it and I really saw results the first time, so I'm back! The important thing is to pay attention to your knees and the form they use - like putting your butt out. Feel free to add me anyone.…
  • Just stick with it and the weight will eventually come off. Plateaus happen, that's normal. I pushed through mine by doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred on YouTube. 10 Days on each level (3 total) for 30 straight days. The first days are the hardest, but I promise it will get easier and you will see real results, quickly.…
  • Good for u! I've had my share of issues with that as well. Took a few days off for holiday and I'm realizing how much better I few without it. Your skin will look better, you will smell nicer and most importantly, you will be able to breathe again. I've quit before, but somehow always go back. We can do this together!…
  • Hi Gang, I'm Kelly. Single and fabulous with a dog who keeps me walking. Did 30DS at the end of August and wish I'd done it sooner when I was at the pool. It's never too late to get in shape and with Jillian's workouts I've seen big results. Since I finished the last round, I've been really slow to lose the last few…
  • Yes, every 10 days u move up a level for a total of 3 levels and 30 days. I log as circuit training 20 mins. The first time I did this, I was doing everything the easier version, but this time around I'm doing regular version and adding weights to cardio. The first few days are the hardest because you'll be sore, but you…
  • Count me in! I just started for the 2nd time around and I find it challenging, but not unbearable. I've done 4 days of level one and hope to lose 5 lbs by the time I'm done. Feel free to add me anyone. Let's push it before the holidays!!!
  • My new winter fave is low-cal italian bread, spread with pesto, turkey breast, prov or swiss cheese and chopped sundried tomatoes. I toast mine in the George Foreman and it's just like Panera, but about 300 cals. Delish!
  • ^^This. Couldn't even come up with a name it's so boring. LOL
  • Yeah I've lost on average a pound a week. A few more in the beginning and when I started 30 day shred. U can do it!
  • That sounds kind of high for me. My activity level is set at the lowest, but I exercise at least an hour every day, mostly walking some circuit training. I started at 146, have a GW of 120 and I'm more than halfway. I've been eating about 1400-1600 depending on exercise. As long as you don't go under 1200, you're ok. But…
  • You look amazing! Congrats on your success and keep up the great work. So inspirational!
  • I'm on day 7 of Level 1. Started to see some real results, then the long weekend hit. I'm going to keep pushing through it. Almost at level 2 and it's getting easier. Stomach is getting toned and I'm not as sore during and after the workouts.
  • You look amazing. Way to go and keep up the good work!
  • It's a starting place. Seeing a high number should only motivate you to make positive changes. Don't let it define you. Keeping track of what you're eating and exercising is the most important thing. There are mixed views on eating back exercise cals. If you're hungry, go for it. I usually eat back most of mine and still…
  • I just bought this and am starting it when it arrives this week. Looking forward to toning up & shredding it. Not sure what other people put as their form of exercise, but I would guess that aerobics would work.
  • Just ordered this today and will hopefully start Wed when it arrives. I'm ready to sweat off the rest of this weight and tighten everything more. Good Luck everyone! :)
  • I can still indulge (slightly), stay within my target and lose weight! I want the weight when I finish logging for the day NOW, not in 5 weeks!
  • I got this when I was running heavily (70+ miles/week) 10 years ago and haven't been able to run or sprint for longer than 10 mins without pain. It's not the end of the world. It did get gradually get better once I stopped overusing it. I've found a lot of other ways to get exercise, swimming, elliptical, fast walking and…
  • Pickle on a stick, corn on the cob (no butter), kabobs. Avoid anything fried.
  • I used to not eat breakfast and snack heavily later. It was hard getting used to eating in the morning, but now I can't go without it. Anyone who doesn't have time, I have a fiber plus bar which keeps me full til lunch. Start small and you'll see a big difference.
