I dont think you should eat "them", because that implies that someone can measure both the short and long term calories burned from exercise. Although some estimates can be good enough to see results, just go by feel. I see way too many people trying to turn fitness into one big math equation. Yes, counting calories is a…

Dont force yourself to eat back calories if your are not hungry. The majority of the time, calorie burn estimations are very innacurate. IMO, people should not log calories burned by exercise and should just eat at maintinance on exercise days

Eat whenever is best for you. Try to find the correct amount of food pre-workout which makes your perform at the highest level.

I love my cheat day, its a great way to reward yourself and de-stress about counting calories. Note that cheat doesnt mean binge, just eat what you want when your hungry.

They are both good cardio

Eggs and oatmeal..mines boring!

If your are relativley new to lifting, you can see some great gains in the first year, just gotta eat right. My diary is updated for the most part..although I sometimes just log before dinner then I know what to eat for the rest of the night (so I forget to log dinner). Would love to help!

I like indoor cardio because I can burn in 5 minutes what takes some people an hour to do. Quick and easy...of course Im not running on the treadmill watching tv, but it still counts as indoors lol

Its a fast-digesting form of protein derived from dairy. It will effect your body the same way as any other protein and should only be supplemented if you need more protein in your diet

You should do a comination of strength and hypertrophy training. This means some days lifting in the 3-6 rep range with very heavy weight, and other days lifting in the 8-12 rep range for hypertrophy. I wouldn't suggest choosing a weight that you can get more then 12 reps with (a few exceptions), because it is too light…

I love doing isometrics..seems like nobody likes them anymore. I picked up an old tip for every time I drive, whenever I hit a red light I'll flex my abs till I go through the next light. Won't do too much physically, but it helps with mind-muscle connection
-
That sounds like a good lunch to me
-
I wouldn't reccomend diet pills or fat burners. Just use discipline to form a good diet/ exercise program
-
Sounds like another fad to me.

I personally just like writing everything down in a notebook. Sectioned out different pages for every day of my split, then record the date, then weight/reps/sets

Somebody is grumpy. Saying fructose from fruit causes heart attacks is probably the funniest thing I'll hear all day. As someone who does heart research, I can say that eating fruit should be the least of your concerns when it comes to a heart attack.

Where do I sign up?? Haha seriously though...I think pasta and bread would be an upgrade in the normal diet of some overweight people. People try to make it too complicated. Get enough protein and eat under your maintinance calories to lose weight
-
Gotta love the broscience. You can cut out bread and pasta if you want...I'll continue to do what Im doing
-
Theres tons of different opinions on sugar from fruit. IMO fructose is just as important to your body as other "healthy" nutrients. I say eat as much fruit as you want as long as your fitting it into your carb macros

and leg days!

30-35% of your daily intake will be enough to build muscle, the most important thing is being in a surplus
-
Log what weights your doing as far as weight/reps/sets (write it down) so you can make progress, but dont worry about calories burned from lifting

Im 22 and I had the same problem! Recently changed it and saw some good results

Kettlebells and Dumbells of the same weight will impact your muscles equally. The main difference in how they are meant to be used. Kettlebells are shaped to me more effective for explosive and momentum-driven exercises, while dumbells are meant for slow controlled movements.
-
Some people say it also interferes with muscle synthesis. Alcohol in moderation is fine, the only time you will see a noticable problem is if you drink too much at once..you will become very dehydrated and it could effect your next training session

Good to see some people my age on here! Im 22, all friends are welcome

I get soo annoyed when people say Im obsessed with fitness. They dont understand why I would rather eat oatmeal and eggs for breakfast instead of donuts and muffins. The thing that recently bothered me the most was when I posted a picture of myself on facebook, some people said things like "lay off the roids". I guess I…

I have about 14 egg yolks and 14 egg whites a week. Recently got my cholesterol checked and they said it was the best they have ever seen!

It sounds like all you need to do is increase your activity level! Try finding some sort of exercise that you enjoy doing. It doesnt have to take up a large portion of your day, and once you get used to it then it just becomes part of your schedule. Good luck!
