Welcome to the group. Lots of encouraging words here and great tips and info on the forums. The search tool is great in the forums when you just are curious about a topic. Don't forget to ask questions, lots of folks have experience and who knows the question you ask, is one I am sure others have thought about. Take it one…

Great job and it actually becomes a fun game finding alternative and healthy options for the everyday food that we once ate.

Welcome to the great northwest! Stanley Park is a great place to enjoy and do lots of things. The don't call in Beautiful British Columbia for nothing. I'm down here north of Seattle. Enjoy it all, you just can't get bored. LOL.

If you are getting your cardio workouts like with tread, elliptical, bike, etc, for 5 days a week, you really should only do weight resistance training 2 days a week. Your legs need about 3 days between workouts. For myself I work my legs Tue/Fri and upper body Mon/Wed/Thu.

I think that if a person can't laugh at the simple joys and observations of life and all that it brings, then they just can't be taken seriously at all. Love a good laugh.

You should be proud of yourself! You made a conscious choice to not go over board. You need to allow yourself some leeway. You have a plan and will workout later, so don't get down, but get down and boogie!! Hope you can find the sunshine in your day and that some light will shine your way.

Congratulations to yourself and the fantastic results! I have about 55 more to go out of 85. What worked for you? I have plateaued.

Welcome to the MFP family! You have done a great job so far in wanting to lose some weight and to get to a healthy you! Great news is you are half way there, instead of being at the beginning of your journey. Lots of support here and great positive motivation.

There's something seriously wrong if he doesn't want to have relations! Come on, its a great form of exercise and a way to build your current relationship. Perhaps there's something else that's on his end that is getting in the way. You may want to try talking about it sometime, but do it away from the home, perhaps over…

After tipping my toe in the proverbial fitness/healthy lifestyle water for so many times before, finally decided this year I would take the plunge and finally get going. Took about a week, but its been smooth sailing for the past month. So jump on in, the waters great!

Baked Ham Baked Potatoes Green Beans Others will have the sweet cherry sauce, but I'll steer clear. So not too bad for a meal.

7 days for cardio and 5 days incorporating resistence training. Once you start, you will actually crave getting in your work outs, no matter how many. It simply becomes part of your lifestyle.

This is a great site for positive motivation. We are all in the same boat and welcome you aboard the S.S. MFP!! Enjoy the support and remember every question is valuable!

Elgaupo is on the mark. You just need to be brutally honest and let him know that you are finding it uncomfortable with him showing up so often. You need to keep your life at work as at work and that he is starting to hinder your work (whether or not that this the case or not). Make sure he understands and let him know…
