Thanks for your input. For those that say starvation mode isn't a thing good for you. When I eat what i think are too few calories e.g. 1500 for my current weight and desired loss per week, I find myself hungry more often. Hence I feel I am starving. I do track daily and actually weigh my food but it seems I've currently…

Love bananas however they're high in carbs and sugar but the way I see it, it's gotta be better than some high sugar cereal or even chocolate biscuits. I'd suggest having no more than 1 a day however if it fits in with your calorie allowance and macros then why not? In summer I love smoothies (which can include bananas,…

Don't think of it as a cheat day. In fact stop having cheat days because you're only cheating yourself. Plan your meals anyway including some exercise. If you go over your calorie allowance on 1 day yet for example, the remaining 6days (assuming) you have stuck to your allowance or have calories remaining.... you should…

Try using Fitbit when you are not already doing another exercise. eg when I run i just use my HRM to track calories burnt. then i wear my Fitbit to work etc outside of work out sessions. when you log in exercise on MFP it should ask when you started the exercise you're logging and of course you will enter how long you did…

I'm not sure why Nike + isn't working for you. That's what I use for both my treadmill and outdoor runs & it works well for me. Just be mindful to change your settings from indoors 9for treadmill) to outdoors (for outdoor running). As for another app, I used to use C 2 5K (Couch 2 5KM) and since completion of that I am now…

don't think of the whole number 10...coz that can be very overwhelming. just think you've already got 5km in the bag....gently and slowly you can bag the other 5km...even if you must do them slower than the 1st 5.. I've just (in last 2weeks) started on The Active 5K to 10K... it's better than I feared actually... Day at a…
