Super low carbs and high protein. I eat a lot of eggs, egg whites, chicken, etc... Yes, I will have a brownie when the occasion calls for it, but I no longer have one every night after dinner. I've also given up diet soda and am drinking a ton of water.

I'm game! I was diagnosed three years ago. Knew I had it way before then, but didn't get a competent doctor for several years. Just had our 4th child 11 weeks ago tomorrow! Trying to drop all this baby weight while I've got the bonus calorie burn from nursing. Age: 29 Height: 5'7" SW: 205 CW:196.4 TMGW: 190 GW: 135-140…

This is one of the most inspirational posts I have ever seen on MFP. Thank you for sharing!!!!

I am going through the exact same thing right now. I've been stuck at the same weight for weeks now, and I'm getting burnt out. Yes, my clothes are fitting better, but I want the stupid scale to move! I have around 40 lbs to lose too so it's not like I'm trying to get rid of that final 5. I exercise 6 days a week and eat…

Great job! I just finished phase 1 of BR. I've already lost a couple inches off my waist and can't wait to see the final results!
-
I can see it! Great job! Keep up the great work!

Wonderfully inspiring post! You just made my day that much better. :-) Thank you for sharing your story!

It's a very different way of moving and feels unnatural at first. My first time on one I almost fell off and could only keep at it for 10 minutes before I thought I was going to die. You'll get used to it, but it will just take a little time. :-)

Nope. My kids eat what we're eating for dinner, or they don't eat. We set a timer for 30 minutes at the beginning of every meal and whatever they eat in that 30 minutes is all they get for that meal. If they don't like it, that's fine, but they have to at least try it, and accept the consequences that if they don't eat,…

I'm still breastfeeding my third, but I always feel like my body retains an extra 10-15 lbs, regardless of what I'm doing diet/exercise wise while I'm still nursing. True, it comes off pretty quick at first, but then my body just refuses to let go of those last few pounds. With my first, it took me a little over a year to…

Great job! You look absolutely amazing! So inspiring!

I love this thread! Thank you for all the inspiration!!!

I love 30ds!!! I did it through my entire 3rd pregnancy and kept a healthy weight throughout and had a great delivery! (wouldn't recommend that for everyone, especially those who go into labor early. I'm one of those "blessed" ladies who hangs onto her babies until 42+ weeks :-/) Just finished RI30, and while I didn't lose…

Great job! Very inspiring!!!

I am definitely an apple shape. At my thinnest (not healthiest) I had thigh gap, but not a flat stomach. Things to help the loose skin go are: LOTS of water!!! It helps your skin gain back it's elasticity. I'm not saying it will make you have a miraculously flat belly, BUT, it will help tighten up your middle. The other is…

I'm 5'7" currently 184 and am hoping to get down to 130-140. I just had our third child almost two months ago and am trying to take things slow since I'm nursing and I don't want my milk supply to disappear. I was at 150 when I got married (almost 6 years ago) and would even be happy with that. I mainly want to feel…

great job! I just had my 3rd kiddo in March and am trying to lose the rest of my baby weight plus another 30 pounds while nursing. It's hard when you're motivated to diet but have to keep your calories up to sustain your milk supply. All together I need to lose about 54 pounds...

once I'm done having kids, heck yes! I'm going to get a reduction and a lift! I've had DD boobs since I was 12 and am now up to a 36H. I would love to be a DD again! Shoot, it would just be nice to be able to wear a bra from VS or just pick on up at Target, but I have to special order my nasty granny bras. We still have…

I'm due March 3rd with baby #3 and am seriously stressing about weight gain. The only things that I seem to be able to keep down are crackers. Ugh. You'd think with me vomiting all the time that I wouldn't have gained an ounce, but I have already put on 2-3 pounds. (I'm sure it's just fluids, but it still sucks) My goal is…

I set mini goals. "I'll run until that stop sign" but then once I get to the stop sign, I think, "okay, I wanted to quit a quarter of a mile ago and I'm still going, I can go another stretch". Just push through the suck! Your body will always want to quit! Make your mind up not to quit and don't back down. I also tell…

So, I'm about to start Clomid in a few days, (hopefully Tuesday:-) and am wondering how y'all deal with the side effects if you have any??? We're currently ttc our 3rd child and I no longer seem to ovulate, so now it's time for some help. I was just curious as to how the Clomid makes you feel mentally and physically. My…

Fabulous job! You look like teenagers now! Keep up the good work! :-)

My goal is 135-140. In high school I was 125 and I looked like Skeletor. I would say I have a medium frame. Right now I am stuck in the "Pit of Despair" (aka the 160's) and am closing in on the high 150's. I fluctuate anywhere from 168-163 depending on my fluid retention. After today though, I'm probably back up in the…

I'm in!!! I DEFINITELY need the motivation!!! :-)

Thanks ladies! I have heard about the link to diabetes and that metformin is used to treat it along with PCOS. I was just hoping that it was more of a "weight loss tip" stand on low carb eating rather than actual "you shouldn't eat carbs because they are not good for someone with PCOS". The main reason I ask is because I…

I love them all, but the half is my favorite. I have yet to run a full Mary, but I start training for my first one next week. I'm excited, but not looking forward to the 20+ mile runs on Saturdays when i would rather be spending that time doing something else. I love the half because it doesn't take up the whole day and I…

I bought a really sweet water bottle and that helped me up my water intake. I just set a goal to drink my bottle all the way through at least twice a day (32 oz bottle). It helps me! :-)

Hi! We have a Schwinn Tourismo double jogger that we LOVE! We debated a long time between that one and the in-step safari. Overall, i would go with the Schwinn, mainly because you get more bang for your buck. (We researched for over 3 months before purchasing and waited for a sale). The Schwinn is just better quality,…

I use Fertility Friend to chart my temps to see when I ovulate and so i know when to test. My cycles are around 50 days long so it helps to know when (and if) I ovulated that cycle. If I were you I would wait. There is nothing more depressing than thinking you're pregnant and then then POAS and have it be a BFN. Just keep…

Too much sodium could be causing you to retain more water. And, I don't know if this is a possibility, but could you be pregnant or are you expecting AF anytime soon? I know whenever I get pregnant I don't gain weight for the first 3-4 months, but my waist and hips get bigger...
