That doesn't sound good....

You can put calories burned under cardio. There is a strength training section there, but I am not sure how accurate it is.

I feel bad for every single "don't eat it EVER!!" people. What a sad existence you must live. It must be hard to be in prison everyday. To the OP, how often do you crave this meal? Once a week? Lets say its once a week, can you cut it down and have it once every two weeks? Then, on the weekends you crave it but are not…

I eat everything and still lose. Oh and I am 36 and have a desk job.

Go to www.fitnessfrog.com or www.fat2fitradio.com/tools and run your numbers.
-
Are you eating an excess of calories? If so are your fat AND carbohydrates really high?
-
I just started using protein powder and I am a HUGE fan of CytoSport Muscle Milk. Great stuff and actually tastes good

Stop trying to use food to lose weight. Use food to fuel your body so that you can use exercise to change it. I am LOSING weight on 2500 calories a day. That is because 2500 calories a day allows me to lift heavier, play longer, and work harder. Calories are my ally not my enemy.

This x100

Because no woman wants a before and after like this? http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/

Just for reference. I am 5'10", 203, BF 21.4% and I am LOSING eating 2500 calories a day. I lift heavy 3 days a week and do minimal cardio,

This x100. You have to enjoy life now and then too!

My story was similar to yours. Married 10 years, Decided to leave in July 2010, Moved out August 2010 and started seriously dating someone in September 2010. Ashley and I are still together, but we still live separately. There was no way either one of us would have been ready to move in together after we just met and both…

Your welcome. I swear these Gym Trainers can be dangerous. Like Dr's there are only a few good ones, some ok ones, and lots of really really really bad ones. Good luck to your friend. I hope she can find a healthier way to lose weight than starvation.
-
It does to me when they are excercising 2 hours a day and burring a 1000 of it off. I understood the OP's POV, but I think the under 1200/intense exercise WOMEN are adults with an eating disorder. IMNSHO
-
I dropped 3% in four weeks with heavy lifting. I don't think its impossible. Good luck!
-
To have gained 6lbs of weight you would have to have eaten 21,000 calories OVER your maintenance level. Your body weight can fluctuate up to 5lbs in one day.
-
I would decrease your cardio and increase your weights. You lifting pretty light weights. Trust me as someone who has done that for a year: I have seen more results in 4 WEEKS of heavy lifting than I had in a year with high rep light dumbells.
-
3 months, 12 lbs. Take pictures of yourself. I didn't see results until I did that. When I look at my week 1 vs now pictures I cannot believe its the same body.
-
Unfortunately its not just young girls. Do a search for 1200 calories and look how many WOMEN are starving themselves on this site.
-
Using the calculators at fitness frog, and setting your friend to HEAVY Exercise (which might even be low for that routine) it says she should be eating 2671 Calories to MAINTAIN her weight. If she wanted to lose she should take a 15% cut. So she could eat 2270 calories and STILL lose weight. If she goes at the rate she…

BINGO!

I have been lifitng heavy (stronglifts 5x5) for four weeks. I eat at about 300 calorie deficit per day. In 4 weeks I have lost 3 lbs and dropped almost 3% body fat. My week 1 and week 4 pictures are amazing. Start now, you won't be sorry. I didn't start heavy. I started with bare bar for squats, bench, overhead press, and…

You need more fat and less processed food/sugar. Try that. If you upped your calories, and you are starving, that could be your metabolism kicking in.
-
What he said is "partly true".
-
Tillapia. 8oz of Tillapia is only 200 calories and 40g protien
-
If you are exercising 2 hours A DAY, I hope you are eating 2300-2500 calories AT LEAST. If you are one of the 1200 calorie ppl, I can tell you where your weight "gain" is from.
-
I think this is the EXACT wrong way to think about food. I look at my goals and tailor my calorie intake to achieve my goals. In other words, I don't look at calories and food as the enemy. I look at calories and food as a means to achieve a goal, of which I have two: 1) Lose 15lbs 2) Get stronger. I think when you start…
