Follow the advice here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/538381-in-place-of-a-road-map Do NOT eat only 1200 calories. Calculate your BMR and TDEE, Strength training 3 days a week, walk on the rest. I started doing this last week, for the first time I was able to complete an entire workout. Its amazing the strength…

If you are using the TDEE (and its correct, recommend fit2fat.com) you should be eating between BMR + 20% and TDEE. If you exercise ENOUGH to bring your net down below BMR +20% you should eat back those calories.

Thanks for the response. I am with you. I never finish anything! LOL This is my second go around with 90. I like it, it seems to burn a lot of calories and I am definitely seeing results in my arms and midsection. I think I will finish this out then maybe reconsider going to a gym. My biggest fear is getting hurt! LOL

I have been posting this all over today. You don't have to just guess your calories. Follow the information in this thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/538381-in-place-of-a-road-map?error_user_id=1362324&error_username=yesthistime

Welcome to the site! As for calories I cannot recommend setting your own goals based off the information in this post enough. I too was eating way below my BMR. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/538381-in-place-of-a-road-map?error_user_id=1362324&error_username=yesthistime I have my macros set at 35% Carbs 30% Fat…

It also depends on what you eat, partially. When you eat fruit, pasta, veggies etc, you are consuming water as well. I am not saying you shouldn't drink water. As another poster said, look at your pee, it will tell you if you are hydrated or not.

I like them, but I don't see them as documentaries. They all seem to have an agenda. I tend to watch one then google the opposing view.

Technically Coke probably kept her alive longer than water would have. At least she was getting SOME calories from Coke

BEST.INVENTION.EVER I love that stuff.

You are eating high calorie low nutrient foods all the time. For example: Lean Cuisine - Pepperoni Pizza, 1 Pizza (170g) Replace with: 1 Whole Wheat Pita, 1/4 C Mozzerella, 1/4c Pizza Sauce, 2c of veggies Pbj - Pbj, 1 Sandwich Replace with: Apple and 2tbs Peanut Butter with 1tbs Water (PB and Water for 30 Seconds).

One question: Why?
-
Coffee is great source of potassium as well. Cut back slowly on the additives and learn to drink it black. You can't go wrong!
-
What are you eating for those 1600 calories? I know on days that I eat well that I do NOT feel hungry at all, but on days that I eat treats or go the fast food route I am hungry. I think its because while my body is getting calories, its missing the nutrients it needs.
-
If I eat 1800 calories worth of twinkies I will still lose weight. Look, if you like a protein bar and it fits in your calories go for it.

My girlfriend got me hooked on Lindt Swiss Bittersweet Chocolate. Its in a white wrapper. YUM!

Two questions: 1) What are you eating? 2) How much to do you exercise?

The best time is on the fifth Tuesday of the month after a full moon. :) Just kidding. I am one of those people who believe if you make your caloric goals (and even if occasionally you don't, because sometimes you won't), exercise, and eat well MOST of the time. There is no wrong time to have something you enjoy. EDIT To…

- Whole Grain Mustard - Greek Yougurt - Whole Wheat NAAN - Spelt Bread - Butternut Squash Ravioli - Veggie Tortillas - Whole Mozerella - Nuts I can go on and on....
-
I would never say this to my girlfriend. I am proud to have her on my arm whether she is in sweatpants and and t-shirt or a slinky black dress. When you love someone you don't care what other people think and you should ALWAYS be proud that she is yours.
-
The ONLY calories I drink is a beer like once a month. Food is so much better than drinking! LOL
-
Nuts! I love almonds and dates. Roasted Soybeans are good too. Nuts are quick to eat, calorie dense and keep you satisfied for a long time.
-
THIS! Coffee was meant to be drunk black, plus its a decent source of potassium! Have it black and enjoy (2 cal per 8oz and 125 mg Potassium!)
