  • Best *kitten* thread I've seen today. YASS. <3
  • :# :# :# Yikes.
  • @sjaplo YASSSSS
  • I personally have switched to Ole Xtreme Wellness tortillas. They carry only 50 calories, lots of fiber, a low amount of sodium, and even some protein. Here's a flavor I often get: http://olemex.com/index.php/2013-07-26-20-44-53/traditional-mexican/item/175-spinach-herbs-tortilla-wraps-8
  • *applause* I can't offer any maintenance advice, but splendid job on the weightloss and consistency in keeping it off thus far!
  • Black bean! Save the avocado for the chocolate frosting. http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/category/healthy-brownies-and-baked-goods/ has a ton of variations on healthy brownies (and the avocado frosting) I've also made brownies with pumpkin or sweet potato - both deliciously fudgy.
  • Xtreme Wellness tortilla wraps are also fantastic. High in fiber, burrito-sized, and only 50 calories.
  • * How much WILLPOWER it actually takes some days to stay on track. * How much of a rollercoaster it really is, because your brain takes so long to accept the weightloss. I'm 40 lbs lighter and I STILL have trouble with looking in a mirror and not seeing a slug. * The happy/annoying struggle of being in between sizes.…
  • I just sent a request into the the above Low Carber forum. I've been successful thus far with a "roll your own" blend of Keto and Paleo diets. Diary is open if you're interested -- I'm by no means perfect, as I love my beer and pizza, but I make accommodations.
  • @tunaboi : PBFit is pressed peanuts, so all of the oils are removed. You get the same flavor without the fat -- where a lot of the calories come from.
  • @abbynormalartist : I also use the Xtreme Wellness wraps -- they're AWESOME. Now try wrapping up some PBFit and sliced banana in one!
  • I personally love the ninja mini food processor we have at home. I use it to prep veggies for meals throughout the week (and make chocolate avocado "pudding" or frosting), the cleanup is easy because it's so small, and it doesn't take up much shelf or counter space. We also use the Instant Pot a lot, but some stuff comes…
  • Cabbage and Keilbasa soup Ingredients: 2 cans petite diced tomatoes 1 onion, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 3 medium/large carrots, sliced 2/3 of a medium-sized head of cabbage, roughly chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped 20 oz smoked sausage - I'll also sub in canned chicken breast - sometimes I'll do half and half 1…
  • Tuna salad, egg sandwiches with tomato and/or avocado, a steamed sweet potato with whatever leftover protein is in the fridge (I live for sweet potatoes - they're super versatile), or carrots and celery with 2 servings of PBFit. I've also been known to keep bagged salad mixes on hand to use for light dinners.
  • 12 oz cans of chicken breast (2) or a 20 oz package of smoked sausage 1/2 - 2/3 head of cabbage 2 cans diced tomatoes Carrots(3)/Celery(2)/Onion(1)/Bell pepper(1)/Any veggies that need used 3-4 tsp chicken/vegetable stock base or bouillon cubes x 3 optional: envelope onion mushroom soup mix Seasonings to your taste - I…
  • Omg, it's amazing. You can get it all over the place - Aldi's, Walmart, Trader Joe's, etc. I usually see it marketed as Speculoos or Biscoff cookie butter. I always describe it as: If you smooshed up teddy grahams and turned them into frosting, that would be cookie butter. It's literally made up of crushed cookies. It's…
  • https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1129258 This is my go-to recipe for tilapia. It uses olive oil, spices, and balsamic vinegar to give it a nice pan-seared crust. I've also tried blackened versions that were good, but the flavors in this are a perfect pairing with a light salad or easy side veggie.
  • I generally just mix up the standard tuna salad recipe. Lately I've been switching between two variations: tuna, yellow mustard to taste, hot and sweet pickles, and a smidge of mayo OR tuna, a little light miracle whip, and this stuff called Wickles sandwich spread (it's a spicy pickle/pepper relish...yum!) I eat them in a…
  • Both of you have similar goals! I only have 1 kid and have been married 3 years though. ;) (Been together 9!) Please, add me! Would love to keep up with you both!
  • look for black bean or zucchini brownies. You'd be surprised how fudgy both of those are. Alternatively, "No Pudge!" brownie mix is a good storebought brand that only needs some low-cal yogurt and a microwave to hit that craving mark. (Yes, I'm a brownie person over cake :D )
  • Bahaha, *kitten*. We'll just use "Stuff" there instead. I forgot to mention I'm kind of smarmy with my language. ;)

  • http://www.yummyhealthyeasy.com/2015/01/avocado-truffle-chocolates-recipe.html I've made these before, and they're fantastic for hitting that sweet tooth. But when I'm lazy, I'll measure out a couple tablespoons of dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips and let them melt on my tongue. I also like frozen grapes, the 100% frozen…
  • If you can use a microwave, I like getting steamer/frozen bags of veggies, and mixing those with either canned chicken/tuna or the Birds Eye protein blends you can also find in the freezer section. One bag of broccoli and one bag of protein blends mixed together is a good two meals, supplemented with fruit or anything…
  • Thank you! This was SO helpful.
  • ...you see the word "journey" one more time you'll go postal. OR ...your workout gloating with your FL is worse than a lockerroom full of jocks. OR ....you understand what NSV means and use it regularly. (people really look at you weird when using that in normal conversation)
  • I know I'm a bit late on this discussion but...... I'm rather fond of "After Inked", an aftercare lotion you can order online. It's fragrance-free and petroleum-free and does wonders for healing time and color saturation for me personally, and a little goes a looong way (which is good because it's a little pricier) Plus…
  • Starting from the bottom up..... - Orchids on the top of my right foot (still needs finished) - "Blue bird of happiness" on my right outside ankle - Zombie My Little Pony on my left thigh - Feather turning into flying birds with the word "hope" on my right hip - Sparrows on my shoulders with a fall to winter, spring to…
