nicolee, I have just got problems at night. I am a light sleeper, small bladder, and I get up once or twice each night. It's been this way for years. Overall I have adapted just fine, but I have almost NO control on my decisions at 2AM. It's like a zombie at a buffet. My house comment above was for boggs and not iplay,…

Iplay, moving is a WORKOUT. Don't forget to claim the tax credit if you can. It's $6k if you are moving and owned for 5 years. Keep up the calorie target too. I have been good too, but still snacking on granola bars at 2AM. Ughh!!! Jessica, good job working the treadmill over.

Great Job Kelynn, I thought I would do this one last illustration so everyone can see a chart once populated. I am sure some of you are saying ENOUGH Raymond, we get it. I simply want to avoid initial confusion and get everything started off right.

The weight goal (green) on the right aligns with the marks on the left side of the chart. It shows better with more data. The right markes on the chart (2 to 14) are for fitness hours we will be logging (dotted line does not show up yet). So, we chart two variables on the same chart, multitasking! Hope it helps

OK, I noticed the first flaw. Alignment issue between the week notation and the table. I'll fix it . Going home now... .

Whew that was a pain in the (fill in blank) Before anyone gets upset or overly excited, this is still going to take some work. But soon will become routine, and a KEY part to success of this group. 1) I can't fit it all into a single post, it's simply too long so I have to break it into 2 posts. Hopefully no big deal. 2) I…

2nd try on chart, it's getting close now (I post and delete the image if I don't like it) If you think I am crazy.... well, I am

Only a test to post the chart, and it cropped it too much. I'll try again tonight.

The land of the infamous Lake Placid Ironman. My buddies are addicted to it. Cool.

Tracy, that’s great news. Sleep is a good thing. Sign me up for some cheap help at that bar someplace sunny and warm. Laurie, enjoy those flights and security screenings. That 6AM gym alarm will be oh so tough. Go get em! Kelynn, you are on fire! Yep, first weigh in will be this weekend so I am looking for some results…

Cool, that's the plan. I love to see it repeated, and not by me. To be honest, I don't really care if we have some variation in what each persons "week" is. If it's Saturday to Friday, Monday to Sunday, or some other mix is not a big concern. Basically, report the weekly results sometime over the weekend, or by late on…

The scale is the devil  Seriously! My wife and I are both hitting it hard for 2010 and our scale barely works. In fact, I tried to weigh in today and it would not even work long enough to get a reading. I almost ordered a new scale on Amazon and asked my hun which model. She said she did not even want one. She is…

I am a farm animal, so guess I fit right in    Call me wimpy, but I did the treadmill for about 8 miles today. I looked at the -5 F mid afternoon and my treadmill was an easy choice. I rented a good movie and got it done. Then my project list got longer as the dryer vent got clogged, DVD player stopped…

Congrats Hanni, what an awesome way to start the new year!

Hey peeps! Thanks everyone for the posting, they will work great. I decided to purge my addiction to diet soda this year too, and day one is down. All those chemicals can't help anything and water is a key ingredient to losing weight. I know so many people that have done this and not looked back. My coffee has to stay, no…

I would like the goals done by later on Saturdy, that's when I'll be working on the charts. The goal part is not a big deal for formatting, really. The most challenge is roster because each chart is customized per person. I manually set the high/low scale of weight and fitness hours. The most work is stabilizing the roster…

Stormchaser, that post made me grimmace and all I did was read it. So, so sorry for that. It helps me realize what a blessing it is just to be comfortable. I am proud of you to get medical advice and push to get it figured out. You are officially added to my prayer list and keep us posted. Your Jan 13th appt. seems like…

You bet! I thought about it, and came to the conclusion it's best to start with a few extra folks and give it a few weeks to see how it will stabilize. We'll include bigtest, kellygirl, and jessica if you all still want to join? I'll be working on the roster and first chart this week and have it ready to post this weekend.…

Tick tock..tick tock... 2010 is coming soon. I am sooo ready to get past the holiday glutony. I've been doing the family rotation too. MIA for a whole different reason. NO wireless at the in-laws and think it's dial-up. SO... plenty of puzzles, cooking, and, of course, shoveling. Our own Kelynn the ninja shoveler knows…

..... Save the neck for me Clark....    Not sure what Christmas would be without Eddie. I had to go buy the ****ey turtleneck to be fashionable   Have a wonderful Christmas Everyone!

Seems like I am right in the middle at 37. Feels both old and young to me, just depends on the day. I am from Iowa and love it here. Today the weather just stinks. I am sooooo glad we left early to get to the In-laws. Whew… wind, ice, snow, more ice, now more snow and wind…. repeat again tomorrow. BUT Christmas with family…

Bigtest, let me check and make sure we have all of the 12 “on-board” with this group before we start this year. Give me a few days to check and I’ll get back to you. I am trying to keep the group size small so it is easier to manage and we have some accountability. I do LOVE your profile and think God has some big plans…

We are at 12 now which is right at the limit to keep this group small. Thanks to everyone, and very pleased we had a good response. Please let me know if you are thinking about a different group/team before the end of the year so we can make adjustments. Thanks again for joining this group!!! Rainman37 timeforchange Hanni…

You betcha! Kelynn, 2010 is going to be the year to define you as a runner. I am excited for you, really, and would love to help make it a success however I can. boggs68, Absolutely we'll take you onboard. A torn ACL is a tough setback and think this group can help. I LOVE to eat bad, it's really good stuff. So, we can…

Thanks for the feedback stormchaser. I think I finally found something I like, at least it's a place to start. > This is broke into a 90-day interval so we can see a finish line on the horizon (compared to an entire year) > A "goal" weight was added at roughly 90-days > I am visual person, so I prefer charts to plain data…
