I mix in my blender a scoop of Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle with a scoop of Big Train Fit Frappe Mocha and 8 ounces of skim milk. four ice cubes, and maybe 2-4 ounces of water. I get a little morning caffeine along with a lot of protein. I make this up after my shower and then drink it while I'm getting ready for the…

Ha ha!! Your avatar totally matches what you wrote. LOL

Love it! I am actually able to almost keep up with Shaun. (Almost, it depends on what time of the day I'm attempting this.) You should check out some YouTube videos by Goldmouth100. She has done some comparison videos showing her results. She just cracks me up.

This is my suggestion as well. Black licorice. This seems to be the only thing that works for me. I've tried prunes, upping my water intake, drinking coffee...

Just think what a "whoosh" you'll see next week with the water retention AND your normal week of everything. :) I could easily gain 10+ pounds of water weight. One "whoosh" week, I lost 21 pounds. The WW leader looked at me and asked what I had done differently. Well... I "gained" 10 pounds the week before, so technically,…

You are using the same login information for the PC and the mobile app, right? I mean, you don't have two separate accounts? Mine updates automatically without having to manually sync anything.

I remember coming off of Paxil many years ago. It was horrible... especially the shimmery dizzies. I don't even know how else to describe it. I've never taken Effexor, but if it is anything like Paxil, I feel for you.

I am almost always shocked when I see myself in the mirror. I was a size 32/34 and am now a loose 16. I think there's a lot of mental stuff involved with being comfortable in the smaller sizes. I still have the imaginary fat bubble around my body where I think my body size is still at.

^This. I've spent a LOT of money over the last year on new-to-me clothes. However, this also means that I've purchased a LOT of clothes. :) I've had to turn over my wardrobe several times. Spending $60 at a second-hand store means that I am walking out with several separates instead of just one shirt. We have a few…

There's a sleeve group here on MFP called VSGers. :)

I had the sleeve done on 7/24/12. :)

I buy almost all of my clothes at thrift or consignment stores. (NOT bras, underwear or socks.) My wardrobe has changed SO much in the last 15 months. I'd say that I kind of refresh the wardrobe every other pants size, depending on the style. Tops seem to last a little longer in the baggy stage. Although now I'm wearing a…

^This! I bought a pair of black Harley Davidson boots last winter... and I've finally been able to wear them comfortably. Well, they aren't TALL boots but still. I've only worn them twice now and I can finally get them off relatively easily. (They don't have the nifty side zipper.)

Ooooh... I'm already having fun with VS. :) It's so nice to be able to wear skinny strapped bras again!!

Nope. I might ask him his opinion between a couple of choices that I've put together. Although sometimes he's suggested I wear "this" or "that", but he doesn't TELL me. (I'm always up for listening to advice, but I may not always take it.)

No TV during meals. Actually, we have several evenings where we don't have the TV on. We don't even have cable or satellite - just the over-the-air digital and Netflix. (Well, and I have a couple of shows that I like via the Google Play store.)

I vote for going by measurement instead of a number on the scale. You've obviously lost fat because you've dropped a pants size (or two). Sounds like you've gained a couple of pounds of muscle and that's masking the fat loss. (And losing a size in a month is an AWESOME outcome!!)

I wear socks with regular lace up sneakers but no socks with my GoWalks. :)

My only advice is to start with a low weight kettlebell. I recently started a kettlebell routine (well, it only lasted two sessions, but...) and ended up pulling a muscle in my back doing something totally unrelated to the exercise session. I had bent over to adjust my pant leg at the end of the work day and <twang>. The…

I hate taking my two dogs for a walk (on leashes attached to my "Buddy Belt") and having dogs run up to us. Freaks me out... especially the dog down on the corner because I don't know if he's just curious or if he's going to attack. My two dogs are about 14 pounds each, so at least I COULD pick them up if I had to, but it…

I'm still happy with the restriction my sleeve gives me. I'm just over 14 months out from surgery and I can only eat about a cup of food at a sitting. Popcorn, however, seems to be in an unlimited quantity. Too bad it mooshes down when we chew it. We have "Popcorn Tuesday" at work and a small bag is fifty cents. I limit…

And... I still don't like vegetables.

Totally agree. I follow the "protein first" rule still. Although if a meal comes with a dinner salad, I may have one or two bites of it. Lettuce REALLY fills me up now, so I rarely have it. Difficult foods for me would be steak and anything with a tomato base. Steak has to be super tender in order for me to be able to eat…

I don't think I had much of an exercise restriction either. However, I was terrified I would "do" something to my sleeve so I waited a month. Then again, I also started out on soft food when I got home from the hospital. While still in the hospital the day after surgery, I followed the clear diet for breakfast, the liquid…

My only regret is that I didn't have it sooner.

^ So, since you have a sense of humor, when I glanced at the URL for your YouTube channel... I read it as "pieces of crap" instead of "peace of scrap". :) I'll be checking out your videos. :)

It could be that the formula changed for the deodorant that you typically use and you are having an allergic reaction to the new formula. My husband can't wear any antiperspirant due to similar "chemical burn" symptoms. He only wears a certain brand of deodorant only. The good news is that you CAN wear your wife's. I'd…

^This. I have some saggy skin on my thighs, upper arms and tummy. I can still wear shorts in public and no one can see the saggy skin on the thighs. I can wear shirts with sleeves that end at the elbows or longer (3/4 or full) and no one is any wiser to the saggy arm stuff. And as for the tummy, no one sees that except for…

Check out the thrift and/or consignment stores! I've walked out with bags and bags of clothes for about $40 total. I buy work and casual clothes for pennies on the dollar, some still with the store tag on them!!

Heck yeah! I used to. I had the Novasure procedure done so now I barely have a period. My cramps are still horrible, but now I can use one of those tiny Light tampons and that's it. But it's better than going through a Super one per hour or less. (TMI, sorry.)
