I wish I had that answer for you...I had six kids...three natural, three c-sections, so the "Pooch" on my stomach is very pronounced...I'm trying the "eat more to lose", and doing cardio, and 30 Day Shred, with the hopes that it will help. But like theartichoke said..my lower abs are sooooo weak. I just keep working it.…

I recently started upping my protein. I'm eating egg whites, and lean meats like turkey tenderloin. Just bake it, and keep it in the fridge. Works well, and in the last couple of days I've managed to up them to almost where I need to be. Also when I'm a bit short, I'll eat a Pure Protein bar. Not high in carbs, and tastes…

Thanks Stephanie...I didn't even think about those things. I have a Turkey Tenderloin in the fridge I cooked last night, so will heat that up with some scrambled egg whites and a bit of cheese...That should do the trick. I am not as concerned with fruit/veggie carbs, as the body processes them differently. It's the grains…

My macros are set for 40/30/30...won't the bacon and egg yolks bring my fat intake up pretty high?

Although I agree with most of what you say....it's tv...that's what they do...they exagerate things so people will watch. Tha being said...I'm happy for the weightloss those people have done. Yes, some of it may come back on, but most of those people were at the point where their health was significantly being attacked…

I do 30ds, and I put it in under Circuit Training, general, but only for 20 min. I would rather underestimate than over, and not see things going in the right direction. I do that with most things that I do.

I'm not eating back my exercise cals. so rarely net 1600, usually less. Even the measure tape is stalling out. I see that my stomach is getting smaller, waist is the biggest place I'm still seeing a loss. 1.5 in the waist this last week and a half. I started eating 1600 the end of April, so that should have been enough…

I'd like to hear that one...I have a butt, but need to firm and tone...got the old lady sag at the bottom...LOL

Personally, I would start looking for a "second" job outside the business, and take that money, sock it away, and then after you have a "nest egg", I would sit down talk to him, and say exactly how your feeling, and if he still gives you the same reasons say, that's fine, I'm moving on...and go!! You can't spend you life…

I tried that way back in the 80's for help with weightloss. The "research" said it helped. NOT!! The only thing that's ever worked is watching what goes in my mouth. And exercise!!! Good luck on the research.

Just getting out and walking and seeing what's around you is good too. Especially when those food cravings come on...You can do this.
-
Also you could try dried apricots...that will do it everytime for me. And like the others have said...lots and lots of water!!

I'm in the US, but have been to N. Ireland twice in the last couple of years. Where in N. Ireland??? I would love to help and support you.

I know exactly how you are feeling. I was put on my first "diet" when I was 6 weeks old. I turn 50 this year. I've pretty much always been heavy. Except for short periods of time when I was in my teens. I've tried other sites for calorie counting, but would stay on it only for a couple of weeks with small losses, and then…

Don't let it get you down...I know it's hard. My BF has to eat 5000+ calories a day, just to maintain, and not lose weight. I look at food and gain. I've been going up and down betwee 10 and 12 lbs lost for several weeks now, even with exercising. About 3 weeks ago, I upped my calories to 1600 (which btw is hard for me to…

Hi, I am 49, and turning 50 this year too. I have a daughter 11, and a son 13. So I feel your pain...LOL Altogether I have six kids, but of course the others are grown and gone. I started losing weight 3yrs ago, SW 258, and got down to 209, and then just didn't work on it anymore. I started putting it back on this past…

Thanks Steffie...I always panic, and that gets me into trouble. If I just calm down and pay attention to the other things I'd be fine...LOL

Thanks Everyone...I know it's not that great, but It's great to me...Just makes me want to work harder...I will do this!!!

Well from what I've learned on here, cardio, and try reverse ab crunches for the lower ab. Lower your carb intake also, as carbs tend to go to the stomach. But I'm sure other more experience people will have more info for you. This is just what I've read here, and taken to heart.

That's an interesting question as three years ago I found myself single after 25yrs of marriage, and entering the dating scene. Because I have kids that are in their 20's and 30's, I couldn't date men that were in their age brackets. One thing I wouldn't have anything in common on a daily basis with them, so I decided that…

Bailey's just came out with a creamer that's fantastic...and you can get it Fat Free for only 25 calories. Nice alternative, and it tasted almost like the regular. Tried them at the store yesterday, they were sampling them.

How I have to do the push ups at first is to use the wall. It's still push ups, just modified to what I can do right now. I do 3-5 on the floor, then move to the wall. I can't do the jumping jacks like they do either because of bad knees, but I modify to what I can do and keep moving. Just use it as a tool...do what you…

Ok, so I'm hoping for menopause soon!!! But in the mean time I am still cylcing... and every month have between 2-5lbs weight gain that bothers me Imensley (spelling???) but I have great friends that remind me that it's not going to stay. And after I end up lower than when I started. Don't sweat it...we women suffer…
