It works for you. Some people like morning workouts, some like evening. People should fit it in t their lifestyle in a manner that will motivate them to be consistent in working out.

My nickname was puff (as in the staypuff marshmallow). One of my friend's dad was giving me crap my sophomore year and said I looked like him and it just stuck :/

Try what mfp gives you for calories for a few weeks and see what it does. If you are dropping more than what you have set your weight loss at, eat more calories. If you are dropping slower and it bothers you, eat a few less. Rinse and repeat. **Note- don't follow for 1 week and get mad if the weight stays the same, though.…

What MFP sets is a minimum. At 235lbs, I aim for about 180-210g of protein a day, and if I go over it is an added bonus

I have a power hour every hour of every day. Instead of one shot of booze, I use one bite of food. Works wonders.

Buy the candy, hide it away until Halloween, then just put it in a bowl and sit it outside. Then you don't have to worry about snacking on it all evening.

Track macros. Lots of protein...I aim for about 200g a day. Macros will help with body composition. Also, lift weights (the heavier, the better).

Whether the weight stays off is your choice. Do you want to lose the weight, then go back to your former lifestyle? If so, then yes, it will come back. If you commit to the weight loss/maintenance, you will be fine.

If it was me, I would focus on things that I couldn't do from home. It sounds as though you already can do crunches, lunges, etc at home, so try some weight while at the gym.

I don't drink milk much, but when I do, it's chocolate 1% milk. I think you probably drink a lot more than me.

You can eat close to 2000 calories, especially on days you work out, and still lose weight. Just my opinion though, you have to experiment and find what works for you. **eta- someone his size can eat close to 2k calories and probably lose weight.

I'd sit him down and tell him that although the internet is a great resource, the only way to really get things right is through trial and error. Go out, make that meth, sell it, and earn some bank. It's what any responsible parent should do.
