Day to day weight fluctuations happen for all sorts of reasons. Water retention, or if you're a woman, where you are in your menstrual cycle can influence it. The weight gain might not have been due to what you ate the day before! Stop weighing yourself, or limit it to once a month.

Wow, there was a really goodlooking guy buried under that weight! You look really fit now!

You have a lovely figure. You look great! This is really motivating for me since I'm just starting out.

I'm not sure if I count, because I am overweight, but by BMI standards I'm not obese yet I am around 37% body fat.

I totally agree. Celexa gave me really bad carb cravings and if I didn't eat carbs I felt nauseous. It really helped my depression though so it was worth it at the time.

Happy ramadan. My weight now is 144 lbs. I'll post back after the month is over.

1 litre of water with 1 tbsp of chia seeds (or any other fibre rich food) inside. After the chia gels, I down it.

What I am doing: Focus on stuffing yourself with vegetables, fruit (not fruit juice) and lean protein. No more than 1 potato/sweet potato per day or 1 cup of corn/peas/lentils. Really minimize dairy and eliminate sugar and grains. Not saying this is the best way, but it's what I'm doing now.

Your story really spoke to me. I feel like I wasted the past 7 years of my life with depression. I feel so mad at the world and at myself. I'm applying myself now, working hard and trying to move past the pain and regrets.

ALL the info about the 21 day fix diet part of the program is easily found online by google in various blogs, pinterest and reviews etc.. There really isn't much to the diet program so it's inevitable that all pertinent details about it have been leaked out online. The exercise you could probably sub with any other workout…

I have the same problem. Listening to suggestions.

Is the scale on a carpet? My roommates put the scale on a carpet in the washroom and the readings were so off I thought it was broken before I realized it was the carpet.
-
Is this scale on a carpet? The scale should be on wood or a totally flat surface. I thought my scale was broken until I realized it was on a carpet.

I vow to do yoga every day

Six inch sub from subway

If I were you I would stop looking at the scale since it's making you discouraged. Just be cool and comfortable with being overweight. Stop making it a struggle. Be happy where you are. Tell yourself you are gorgeous and you are happy with your body as it is (even if this is not true, keep telling it to yourself).…

I want to cut out grains, desserts and white sugar.

You look amazing! Good job!

I can't calorie count so I'm trying to do low carb. It's hard because society expects you to eat grains with every meal. A lot of recipes are designed to be served with rice, etc.. Anyway, I noticed over time I am able to eat less and less carbs. I'm getting better every day.

I'm 26 and I've binged my way to pretty bad heartburn, acid reflux and haemorrhoids. I'm 10 lbs away from being obese and feel old before my time. Just by drinking more water, I lost 5 lbs. Looking forward to losing the other 50!

I had pho at a restaurant and just had everything except the noodles

LOVE smart guys regardless of what they look like (especially phds and researchers), but if you're talking about physicality.. 1. kind looking face 2. big thighs 2. cute big veiny arms/hands
-
Up your water intake. I'm 5'1" and I drink 2 litres a day at least. I lost 5 lbs just by doing this. Stir in some chia seeds or metamucil into one of those litres. The extra fibre will fill you up and take away your hunger.

I had chinese szechuan style eggplant and 1/2 cup of rice. I also had some stewed apples for dessert.

Don't go. Why put yourself in that position? Go to a normal restaurant
-
The time is going to pass whether you calorie count or not - so why not calorie count? Sure weight loss can be slow, but think of the alternative (gaining weight)! Just take it 1 healthy meal at a time.

I'm Muslim too! I'm planning on fasting the whole month, God willing. I've never lost weight any Ramadan even though I fasted, which I thought was really weird. I guess it was too rich food? And maybe eating a whole day's food in few hours? I'm definitely going to be more disciplined this time!

For me I think it was a few things. I was depressed for a long time, partly because of my childhood (we were poor and my dad was schizophrenic). Another thing is my family is really religious and I was brought up believing male attention was bad. You're not supposed to date outside of marriage. Many people in my community…
