$34 seems like a lot for 12 servings in my personal opinion. I would just order Optimum Nutrition gold standard whey from say amazon. A 2lb jar is $29.99, which is 28 servings and has 2g sugar, 24g protein, 120 calories.

When the overall goal seems so far off i found it best to break it down into achievable goals maybe a few months worth at a time. Like I said, achievable...it also needs to be sustainable. Aim to lose 5 pounds a month, or set "Mini Goal Weights" Like i started at 380 and 350,325,300,275,250 have always been mini goals for…

^^^ Very true, wasnt trying to leave one out ;)

My goal is to lose as much fat as possible while minimizing muscle loss so for the time being I do not do any cardio except on off days once in a while. Stretch for a while, lift and then leave. Like they said if doing the same day depends on goals. Strength = Lift then Cardio, Loss = Cardio then lift, which will keep your…

I dont know if its affordable but how about a cruise of some sort? That is my plan once I hit my goal. You have to watch your eating a little bit but its a blast and you can stay really active too. I used to celebrate my successes with weight loss through eating which was obviously a losing proposition in the end.

I am 6'5"
-
Anyone notice this happens especially on legs day when you feel a little wobbly walking out of the gym? =D
-
To put it very simply, I personally believe an intense weight training session is the inability to finish at least half of your weighted sets because you cannot simply push that muscle any further. When you plan on doing 3-4 sets of 8, getting 4 on the 4th set and not able to do another, you know you did your best.

Seeing veins pop out during lifting i never knew were in my arms, at least seen obviously. My 42 size pants look like a drawstring crown royal bag all loose at the bottom but bunched up around my waist, and my belt is out of notches! :grumble: Sometimes being a man and hating shopping makes things difficult.

32 pounds of weight can easily mean muscle/water/fat if he starved himself which is normal these days.
-
32 pounds of fat for someone not very overweight? Absolutely
-
To be honest my first two weeks of counting calories and being healthier in general, I had that constant fogginess in my head if that makes sense and was extremely irritable throughout the day. Most people avoided me in general. After those two weeks though it gets a WHOLE lot better. I think its just your body *****ing at…

My doctor told me not to lose anymore weight even though its obvious i have another 25-30 pounds to go. When asked why, there was never any reason, just random opinions. Do what makes you feel best long as it doesnt adversely affect your health! Great job by the way!

Hmmm besides shopping for clothes nothing really bothers me, maybe im just laid back but almost every shopping trip im happy to help someone reach something or answering questions. Its kind of like enjoying weightlifting, a lot of people think of me when something heavy needs to be lifted or moved, which I dont really mind.
-
I agree, yesterday! Most people wait until they finish losing then wish they didnt.
-
Even in america five guys is generally considered horrible for you, thats saying something =P When im trying to eat healthier i tell people five guys is really the only place here in jacksonville i cant find anything to eat lol.
-
To be honest even at my size of 250 with a goal of 225 i get negative things like that from everyone. It almost feels like people know they wont do it themselves so they dont want to know someone else is able to. I deal with people at work trying to get me to stop eating right and working out or saying "you're tall and a…

When you make a big stride it can be difficult to get back into the swing of things. I dropped from 380 to 275 and felt better, was enjoying life and got very complacent even though my goal was 225. I kept making excuses then did the whole on again off again, making no progress. Until one day just like it hit me with my…

Haha never expected this thread to pop up. 6'5 here
-
Never really experienced it but im sure id like it, if i wasnt so oblivious and noticed it. Is it wrong everyone who keeps mentioning cat calling makes me think of peter from family guy interrupting all the "Hey baby" with "YOU SUCK!"
-
Maybe see a dietician? Or have a metabolic study done if its affordable? Im not really sure off the top of my head
-
If im going out, its easiest for me to just hit the cardio kind of hard and create a larger deficit to be safe. Otherwise i only do cardio when i feel like it and stick to lifting.
-
Im eating at a deficit at 2000-2200 calories and only lifting with maybe some cardio sprinkled in once or twice a week if I feel like it and I lose consistently. I am 29, at 6'5" and 252 pounds right now, averaging 1 sometimes 2 pounds a week lost. It also sounds like you are on a very low amount of carbohydrates during…

You people and your time to enjoy yourself, geez

I like both, after all even an extra five pounds on a lift is an accomplishment, just like an inch off the waist. Teaches me to look for the positive in everything and motivate myself to greatness in each and every thing i do.

and also my profile pic "If you're tired of starting over, STOP giving up"

"Shut up and lift"

Its all a roll of the dice, just suggest knowing the person before you compliment, some people just look at the negative in everything.
