Hi, Started something similar (Alternative Day Diet) and am on the second week. I'm doing 500 cals every other day and in between eating what I want but still keeping it healthy (not eating crisps & choc). So far is going well. The down days are sometimes a struggle around that 2-3pm time when I feel really tired but…

Hi, Very keen to give this a go. Can I just ask what you are doing with exercise calories? Have just finished 2 mile run (around 200 cals). Should I consume 700 cals today or still go with 500. What do you think. Also, would anyone doing this friend request me as would love to see how it goes for everyone? thanks

Don't know if it helps anyone but I used to make it using a thermos. Just a couple of spoonfuls of yoghurt, pour on warm milk and leave overnight. Reading this post has reminded me how easy it was and that I should do it again. ps. slightly pureed fruit (strawberries, mandarin etc) added just before eating used to work…

Thanks everyone....will get your suggestions a try and hope one of them works for me!

No, but curious...what's bodyglide?

lol. They cut your belly button out and keep it safe. Then once they've pulled the skin down and got rid of the excess (sounds gruesome doesn't it) then they make an incision and stitch your button back in - if you look closely you'll see the faint white line around the button which is the stitch scar. Before having mine…

Aha - cracked it!! Before pic is after 3 kids and I also had diversification of the muscles, hence the big bulge from the chest. I would do it again in a second. the pain wasn't too bad and is soon forgotten (a bit like labour!!) If you're thinking about it though make sure you get a reputable surgeon.

Hi, I too am struggling to reach 1200 calories on a low carb diet. I'm only eating carbs from veggies but am having dairy. Any advice from long term successful low…

Perfect, Thank you - according to that I should be getting around 70g protein so I can now taylor carbs and fats around it.
-
Glad I'm not the only one struggling with this - how much fat is too much? Are you eating more fat than protein? Sorry for all the questions, been going with mfp a few months and haven't lost very much - just want this 'new approach' to work. waffle over!!

Thanks for the info Lynn, will go with your suggestions as it's definately working for you:smile:

Hiya, I did it during May for 30 solid days. Lost inches everywhere expect biceps where I increased by 1/2". Overall though I am so much stronger and went on and got ripped in 30 and killer buns and thighs which I now mix up along with 30ds. When I first started I couldn't even manage the 1st set of press ups - now I can…

Hi, I've started the 100g carb thing this week and it's going pretty well. The only trouble is I am finding it hard to reach my 1200 cals without going over on the fat. Trying to keep to low fat meats (turkey, chicken) and mixing that in with a fair bit of quorn/meat free stuff but still struggling. See on here that some…

Hi, Very simple but makes it more interesting. Try mixing some curry powder into low fat natural yoghurt and top your chicken with it. Also, a sprinkle of balsamic vinegar, and a small handful of sunflower seeds makes your salad less boring. Good luck x

Don't feel bad, just go at your own pace. I would aim to do a little more everyday - you'll be there in no time. It's really worth sticking with it - on day 27, very tired but seeing results.

Hi, Don't know if you got an answer to this yet but all you need are some hand weights. If you haven't got these use tins of beans etc or fill up small water bottles - will work just as well.
