Hi, just rejoined too! 5' and need to lose a stone and a half.

Definitely vouch for the linseed - tastes good mixed into natural yoghurt too

Some baked beans and poached egg. Fills you up but less calorific than having bread:happy:

Hi, I'm 43 and originally a Hull girl though have lived in Devon for 12 years now. 3 children and want to lose just over a stone. Just started on Juddd diet and so far so good!

Hi, I always fancy a snack 9-11ish time. My healthy snack option is 100g 0 fat natural yogurt, 10g sunflower seeds and 10g linseed mixed in. Fills me up and my brain doesn't think it's missing out!

Ok, so tried to reply to a post and add it as a quote but obviously did something wrong!!! Anyone tell me how to insert the post so this reply doesn't look like double dutch! Lots of area's badly affected. I'm in the South West which has been trollied (still no rail links). Lost the trampoline, shed roof and garden gate…

Lots of area's badly affected. I'm in the South West which has been trollied (still no rail links). Lost the trampoline, shed roof and garden gate but lucky enough not to have flooded. Chickens looking rather sad though!!!

Hi, Would love to see a bit of snow but just very, very wet and windy here in the UK - worst rainfall on record. Spring around the corner so hoping for a day (just one) without rain!

Not sure I agree with her either - like already said, there is no mention of lack of exercise or the fact that food is so much more readily available so we probably do eat more than our grandparents did!

Hi everyone, I'm 42, married mum of 3 (10, 6 & 4). Not massively overweight, but need to lose just over a stone. Always had to watch my weight but lately it seems to be getting more and more difficult to control! A question for you ladies, not really weight related, but does affect my mood drastically which does then have…

From 'Up North' (Hull) originally but been in Devon for 12 years!

Hi, I used a heart rate monitor and used a calculator that I found online. It came to around 230 cals for me but I guess it will vary depending on weight, fitness level etc. If you haven't got the equipment to calculate it then just stick with it - you will definitely notice a difference at the end. Good luck:smile:

Hi, Thanks for your reply....am hanging in there and need to be patient. Need to lose another 12ib so will aim to get there by the summer - that's assuming we're going to get a summer here!!

Baked beans (Morrisons seem to be lowest at 136cals for 1/2 tin) and two poached eggs. Very filling despite not having any bread.

Hi, Been doing this since 2nd week in March and so far it's going well. Have found some of the dd difficult but got through it! Currently doing M/W/F DD, Tu/Th/Sat/Sun UD, but am careful during the week then do have a treat on a Satruday (usually in liquid form) I think that as with all methods it's just a way of creating…

Hi, Be interested to know what your research highlights re the protein. Been doing Juddd now since 2nd week in Jan. Like you am doing M/W/F down days and other up but not going crazy. Weight loss has slowed but still happy with it - want to lose another 12-14lb. Also, found it difficult to exercise at first as felt tired…

Hi, Sounds strange but peanut butter on celery is great....give it a try!!
-
Hi, Try going onto www.fat2fitradio.com and use the calorie and calculator. This should give you an idea of how many calories you need to eat in order to lose weight. Hope this helps:smile:
-
Hi, How frustrating it all is! No expert, but from personal experience I don't lose if I have too many carbs and even if restricted, if I take my carbs as breads n sweet things I don't seem to lose either. Looks like you are well within calories but maybe try replacing some of the 'not so good' items with something more…

100g low fat natural yoghurt (Aldi's is low cost, low cal n nice n thick). Sprinkle in 10g of sunflower seeds or some flaxseed (variety of diff flaxseeds available at Holland & Barrett). Of course, you can put in whatever you like but I like the crunch from the seeds! Good luck:smile:
-
Hi, I love low fat natural yoghurt (55-60 cals per 100g) with a 10g sprinkling of sunflower seeds or 10g of some linwoods flaxseed (several different varieties available from Holland & Barratt) Hope this helps:smile:

Hi, If that's all you're eating then you should have lost weight despite the fact that this amount of cals per days is probably far too little. If this all you have really eaten then you should see your doctor as clearly the average person would be losing albeit not particularly healthy,,,,,,hope you get it sorted x
-
Hi, Maybe that are including the little bit of butter used to cook the egg in?(although 8 cals seems a little low). If dry cooking though it shouldn't be any different. I reckon that an average size egg is around 70cals - whichever way you eat it! Hope this helps

Hi Diary open, doing alternate day diet so some days will look bizarre but feel free to add me.
-
Hi, Not a scientist so can't really comment on whether you miss out on other benefits. So far as I can see so long as you have a deficit at the end of the week then you will lose weight. I try to stick to 500 on down days but sometime life does not permit so I just make sure that I allow for any extra on other days -…
-
Hi, Doesn't seem to be many of us but don't let that put you off. Feel free to add me. How are you going to work your up/down days? I do Mon/Wed/Fri as down days, I tend to take it easy on Tue/Thurs and have a little treat like a couple of glasses of wine on a Saturday. Ticker not moved much lately but I've really just…

Hi, Dabbled a little before Xmas but started properly last Monday. Did Mon/Wed/Fri on 500 cals. Tuesday and Thursday were up days but tried to keep it healthy and ended up eating around 800 cals on those days. Ate 1800 yesterday (up day). I'm not really sure how much I should be eating on an up day - have seen mention of…
