I would say no... If he's drinking the high calorie gatorade, then it's simply empty calories he's drinking. Also, most gatorade is packed FULL of sugar. If you supply the body with a lot of sugar, then it makes you even thirstier. But, if he's dead set on gatorade, try to ween him onto Propel. They have the mix that you…

5'9" -5'10" I'm setting my goal for 189, but that's simply because I started out at 300+ when I started eating healthy and exercising. I'm sure once I hit that goal, I'll want to go just a little further.. -Ian

When I workout, I have to have something fast-paced. Usually, something on the rock-ish side of the musical sphere does the trick. But, I have been listening to Motion Trax. They are free Podcasts that are mixes of a lot of fast paced songs. Very cool! And, you can't beat free either!

What meat and brand do you prefer that's low-sodium? I noticed that the Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh Smoked Turkey is about 370 per serving. Sodium is the only thing that I am having a time with right now. My Calories, Sat. Fat, Carbs and Protein are all there; just not the sodium. On the average, I'm going over by about 500mg…

Hehe! Parboiling is where you boil it and once you have reached the certain amount of time recommended, in this case 8-10 minutes, you take the Zucchini and transfer it to cool water so that it will stop the cooking process. I noticed that when I reached 8 minutes for boiling the zucchini, it was almost like a cooked,…

The same exact thing happened to me! Come vacation time, it seems we throw caution to the wind and indulge in everything that's bad for us. It's natural, I assume. You'll get it going again! If I can do it, you can too! -Ian

Wake up, Kim!! Get up and go for a short walk or at least to stretch a little bit! Get the blood flowing and that well help to combat the sugar rush downfall. Maybe taking some fresh fruit to work with you could help? I know it's not hot chocolate and licorice, but hey, it's sweet!

Holy cow! I really hope you get to feeling better. I know anything torn is not good. The best thing, I believe, is to rest the injury so that it can heal properly. If you stress it too much it will not heal correctly and it may cause more trouble down the road. I would say that the key thing right now would be to maintain.…

Hey Donna, When you add in your exercise it takes those calories that you burned and adds them back to the amount you can consume... So, say your goal is 1500 calories per day. If you exercise(burn off) 200 calories and eat(consume) 1200 calories, you would have 500 left over. Hope this helps! -Ian
