Amazing difference! But the obvious question here is how did you lose 100+ lbs in 6 months?
-
Seconded. If you had a legitimate point to make about alli it was lost when I read it.
-
I only count water for water intake, minimum 8 glasses a day.

This is my gamer tat, it's on my bum ^_^

Twix candy bars. They have the same amount of saturated fat as 12 strips of bacon per one pack (two bars) of twix.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences with weight loss and the girls! Seems like the only thing to do is prep and hope for the best. I am going to start lotioning up, I really should anyways. And chest plies!

Such inspiration! I'm going to keep this bookmarked for when I feel low.

Definitely can't hurt, going to add them in to my routine! Thanks! Also, loving the colorful terms "crinkly pear" and "stone in a sock" LOL.

Thanks for all the replies! I am breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter still which, while lovely, isn't going to do a thing to help the situation haha. Meh, I guess once I'm at my goal and I can prove to myself to retain said goal for a while I may pay to have them lifted. I'm 25 but have been big chested all my life and I…

Just finished God is NOT Great by Christopher Hitchens, was amazing.

I love to read, play video games, and work on my photography.

Not necessarily, and I feel silly for even saying it because it is lame to say "I liked something BEFORE it was cool." But it would be like going to university for four years for a degree in something and someone else comes along, with no degree, and steals a job out from under you. That's life, but it seems unfair you've…

I think an important distinction needs to be made between two very different types of "hot girl gamers": 1. People like Olivia Munn who jumped on a meal ticket and 2. Girls who have been gaming all their lives and have either been good looking their entire lives or have become good looking in their adult lives. I agree…

In all seriousness, if it bothers you put your money where your mouth is. Change your profile picture to something other than your own picture, change your profile age to 100, and put your gender as male (or does MFP have a "rather not say" option?). Then, you can use the site and the community for your health purposes and…

Certainly, but for future reference "*kitten*" is one word, not two.

When I started 30ds I did "girly" push ups and couldn't do all the reps... by the end of it I could do the walking push ups they have on level 3. If you are struggling, do the best you can while still pushing yourself and add in some extra days, maybe do each level for 15 days instead of 10. You can do it!

I listen to Deep Forest (world beat I guess?), and the soundtracks to: The Matrix, Underworld, and Fight Club.

Thanks everyone! I am totally in love with it. @MsMonny, It's on the underside of my forearm / inside elbow, where you would get blood drawn if you were at the docs. I got it there because I have frequently commented I need a system for intravenous coffee lol.

I've done 30DS and BFBM. As someone who, when starting this journey, had trouble completing a workout DVD I would recommend doing 30DS first. It's short and effective and will help you build the endurance to move onto the longer workouts. If I had started with BFBM I probably would've quit to be honest... I wouldn't have…

Yes, those with a genetic predisposition to be heavy will have a harder time losing than others.

You can add in breastfeeding under your food, search "breastfeeding." It will add in negative calories into your food diary. When breastfeeding, you need to make sure you are eating enough calories and drinking lots of water in order to ensure your milk supply stays sufficient for your little one. I too, am a breastfeeding…

roflmao this was great.

What do you mean drink zero cal products? I would stick with water only, I wasn't losing until I upped my water to 10-14 glasses a day. You could be putting on lean muscle along with losing fat which is causing a no loss scenario. It takes a while to get your body used to the idea of exercising and losing weight... I…

Oh Jillian, when I first started this journey with your 30 Day Shred, I was sore for like, a week after that first workout. LOL. Good piece of advice though, thanks for sharing!

The water thing helped me. I stopped losing after 5lbs lost and stayed that way for almost a month. Then I went from 6 glasses to 14 glasses of water daily and I've been losing steadily. You may have just plateaued as well, I see you joined this month. It's taken me three months of consistently eating better, tracking…

Hey hey, I blog, mine is at www.awesomeville.co.uk. It's not a weightloss blog (dunno if that's what you were looking for) I write about life in the UK, my daughter, photography, gaming, books and university. Checking yours out now!

Meh, I get the point the article is making, but things such as stored water or glycogen are always going to be in the make up of the number the scale tells us. It reads more like one person's attempt to make themselves feel better than a researched essay. I mean, one can step on the scale in the morning and see a half…
