Me! Me! Me! hahaha I've recently found Chairlift, Blitzen Trapper, Thao with the Get Down Stay Down and I'm from Barcelona....I dig them. Not sure if they are actually all Indie though....

Make sure that your toe nails are trimmed, and some good socks. Other than that, you are running long distances...be prepared for some black toe nails!

You must not be from the south! I'm 24 and have a two year old, and that's the norm here. All my friends have kids, and I know several that are my age with more than one child. You may be young but you can do it, being a mother comes naturally to most women so you will get it girl. You already seem to be caring and getting…

You're doing great!! Welcome and feel free to add me :) It's more fun with friends!

Totally agreed. Except I paid for the size of my boobs....so they better stay big!

There are a lot of different opinions on this topic. I think, eat if you are hungry. If you earn an extra 200 cals from working out, but aren't hungry at all, don't eat them. If your body needs the energy it will tell you, you will be hungry. There are some days I work out that I am starving and eat back all my cals, then…

I also only wear mine while I'm running. Once I get too many miles on them they become my gym shoes. I really dont ever wear running shoes/sneakers of any kind any where else anyways. I don't think wearing them all the time is bad, they just won't last as long for you. So your choice girl!!

I wouldn't worry about eating back your exercise cals....unless you are just really hungry, then go for a healthy snack. Also, awesome job on quitting smoking!

Those Reese's Minis...YUM! And I can never pass on a good piece of cake either.

Maybe try and change up your workouts, what are you doing exactly? Sounds like you have hit the plateau, you just need to change something up, your diet or workout plan, to shock your body and muscles.

The support of friends is so nice! Feel free to add me, as well as anyone else who wants to :)

I loved the C25k as well! I am not a natural runner and it is still really hard work for me, but I love it! And it really kick started my weight loss. Make yourself a great running playlist with songs that get you pumped and get out there!

1. YES, you can come be my dad anytime 2. Captian America...duh

Wow! That is SOOO great, keep it up girl!! You are looking amazing :)

When I was noticably pregnant and people would ask when I was due/how far along I would look at them in horror and say I wasn't pregnant. Their faces were the best thing EVER. Kind of wish I was pregnant all the time just to do this to people.....

I've only gotten emotional after I had accomplished a great run. Like ran farther than I ever had without stopping, or finished a race. Now that I've been running a while I don't do that anymore except at big races. Once you really get the hang of it, it will be nice. It's still hard work but completely worth it. And it's…

Welcome!! I've been on MFP for a couple of months now...love it! Feel free to add me :)

I did Warrior Dash last year, and will actually being doing it again this Saturday! Honestly I was just running every now and then, and not doing any crosstraining and I got through the course pretty easily. I am anxious to see how I do this year since I have been working out more. It is so much fun, and the other runners…

Welcome!!! You should for sure get more involved, I think it helps soooo much. Feel free to add me :)

I love to eat bananas before or after my runs. There may be better choices, but it's fruit and better than eating a candy bar!
-
Thank you, OP for making the last hour of my work day completely unproductive.... I'm not complaining though:)
-
I generally don't eat the extra calories I earn working out unless it's a ton, then I will eat some of them. I wouldn't worry too much about taking in that much food. If you feel good about your intake for the day then don't worry :)
-
I think one a day isn't too bad. It just depends on what you want to treat yourself with :) I used to drink at least one regualr soda a day, and when I quit them cold turkey I lost 10lbs in a month! Now they don't even sound good to me. A few months ago I took two sips of a coke and thought I was going to get sick. Plus I…

You look great!!! Keep up the good work girl :) Can't wait until I have an "after" picture to show off! Haha
-
Yes, rest!! Thanks for adding that in there. Work hard but rest hard too. It's easy to hurt yourself if you do too much, and cross training is really important too.

Run longer and harder. I don't know what your average distance is, but up that. Sign up for a race and train. Do interval training! Run at your normal pace, and then sprint for one block. Run for two sprint for one...so on and so on. Make your run HARD. And dont worry about loading up on carbs sooo much. You really dont…

You will not regret it one bit!! But I would definitely say to workout while pregnant, and still eat right. Don't go all out and "eat for two" all the time. I gained 22 pounds while pregnant, and by time my son was 5 months I had lost 35lbs! Just keep your healthy habits and after you have the baby you wont have to get…

Doing the North Texas one April 21st!! YEAH!! Also going to do the Tough Mudder in Austin this October....eek!

Welcome!! Feel free to add me, and good luck!

Thorlos Experia, they are a bit pricey but totally worth it! If you have a local running store any socks they have should work too, just look around!
