that's a great goal! I have a wedding to attend in May, so right now that's my motivator (to look great in this dress that I already have that's gotten a bit tight) and hopefully it'll keep me going!

You can do it!! It's all about small changes you can sustain!

I feel your pain on this on OP, I feel like I'm gonna have to lose 60 lbs before anyone notices anything. I've lost 14, and it feels like a battle....a losing battle, lol, but anyway, I look forward to the day when just 10 lbs will solicit a double take from family and friends...I'm not there yet!

So I've never had an injury really derail me from being active (I haven't really been seriously hurt since I was a kid), which is really lucky, and that sucks you had to go through that, and its so great you've come out on the other end. As for the rest, I totally get it, I have a lot of weight to lose and have started and…

I love cottage cheese with pineapple! You can also use cottage cheese as a ricotta replacement in lasagna roll ups or in things like risotto!
-
that's amazing, can I ask what your methods have been thus far? I'm always curious to see how others have made their progress!

I've never felt that I looked as heavy as I am. I always thought it was because I'm tall, but this past year, I really began to notice, not just in pictures (which, don't even get me started on that horror) but in the way that I feel. I used to be really athlectic and could keep up and do most things with ease (even with…

Broke down and got my bento today, I just had to! Can't wait for it to get here-totally geeking out! http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-R2-D2-Bento-Box/dp/B015AT2B98/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452346364&sr=8-1&keywords=r2+d2+bento

I do moderate walk "3.0 mph" then however long I went for. I feel it's been pretty accurate?
-
I just log it as walking, but I suppose logging it as aerobics would be accurate as well.

love her! I have them too, and it's the easiest and best exercise program I've done. It's easy and low impact enough that I can do it, but still hard enough to get me sweating every time! love it
-
I use her videos too, and I'll be honest, I feel like I've gotten a better workout after one of the walk at home videos then when I just go for a walk outside. She keeps the pace up, and on another bright note, I can do the walk at home thing in my pajamas! I say keep at it

You have transformed! Great job, a true inspiration

You can so tell, especially around your middle. I'm sure it's because it's been a slow process. I can tell you, I have a lot to lose, and it can be so discouraging sometimes to work so hard and have no one notice. I've been at this seriously almost four months now, and I've lost 15lbs that I'm super excited about, but I'm…

I love soup, soup is one of my go-to's especially when I have a left over chicken on hand. However, this month I am doing vegetarian, and there is a kale potato soup that's to die for! Got the recipe from the food network, here's the link: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/kale-soup-recipe.html

If you really feel you need to cut out the need to snack, I would suggest a distraction, I know for me, I'll go read or book or I like to crochet (though I'm terrible at it, lol). However, I don't think a light snack after dinner is so bad as long as you plan for it, also, I don't know what you usually snack on but maybe…

I'm doing a plant based diet challenge for the month of January. My diary is open if you need some ideas :). I also have recipes if you would like. Good Luck!

There are no stupid questions, we are all idiots in this business, that's why we're here girl! But yeah, you could have eaten more pasta for sure, but now you know, and like GI Joe says, knowing is half the battle! Good luck

Well I'm definitely in that boat, please feel free to send me a request! It's nice to see other people with similar goals, sometimes going through the forums I feel like no one is currently where I am!
When we start a new term, we begin by giving 24 hours for current students to sign up first. Next, we take directly from the waiting list. After we've exhausted the list, we make a thread in the forums. So applying for this term truly is the best way to stay in touch!
This is awesome, I've been waitlisted…

hard boiled eggs! easy and you can make them the night before, as long as you can boil water (I hope your culinary skills go at least that far, lol) you will always have a good breakfast! Also, try overnight oats, there are lots of recipes online, and it's very little actual cooking/prep involved. Good luck!

If you're a beer person, go mich light (55 cal per bottle), If you're a liquor drinker go vodka tonic with a splash of cranberry juice (about 70 cals) and just remember to hydrate, I usually drink a glass a water between alcoholic drinks (not that my drinking is that frequent anymore, lol). You can make it work!

I work 6am-3pm everyday. I live an hour from my job, so I'm up at four, and understand your plite with this. What's been working for me is a smoothie for breakfast that I make up the night before (I have a magic bullet so I blend it right in the cup and put a lid on it to grab out of the fridge) and for lunch I either take…

I love your post, and you look wonderful! congrats on your amazing lifestyle change, I'm sure that little girl of yours will thank you for it, believe that, I lost my mom just this year due to her health and I know had she gotten her weight more under control she would have had more time...you have no idea what a gift…

I have been using shakes lately as a breakfast replacement/supplement. I use fruit and veggies then just some type of juice and a little water (no dairy). They have been delicious, light and filling! My diary should be open, if you look at the past 4 days there is a smoothie for breakfast! Good luck (we got a magic bullet…

sad face, I got wait-listed. Oh well, maybe next time, this sounded so fun. Good luck to all those that got in, I'll be routing for you!

congrats on your amazing loss! I have also been using the recipe section to get a more accurate reading on what I've been eating, and it's been so great! I've learned in the past few months that this app really does work (I've been on the site for so long, but it's only really clicked recently). Looking forward to reading…
