August 27 Let's start the find your social security twin and I can use that for personal financial gain!

I've been doing p90x for years now. Things I've learned for myself. Macronutrients are people specific, what works for one person may not work for others. I find that the more protein and less sugar I have the more I want to kill people. So I have a 60carb/20/20 ratio and that works for me. The only thing I think is solid…

I recommend avoiding sugary foods at night as they trigger MORE hunger. Eat protein rich foods and water... If you must eat sugar, eat fruit, You can eat an entire large watermelon and only ingest 600 calories, it's a lot better than a 2k calorie binge on cookies... and I doubt you could even eat an entire watermelon…

The first few years of my diet, was very constipated. Upping water and adding magnesium to diet helped. Also, too much protein powder was a culprit too.

When I look in the mirror, I am motivated and love what I see. However, it's odd, most of the time though, I feel like I am still my old large self lol--It must be because I was always fighting the weight battle.

One possible short term way is to cut your sodium intake. I'm not sure what you normally eat or drink, but if you consume a lot of sodium in your normal diet you may be retaining a lot of weight in water. So assuming you could get rid of that 5-7 lbs and lose 2-3 lbs naturally, you may hit your goal. Don't cut sodium too…

I count everything. Friends may still wonder why I do it but they understand once they think about it and see where I've come from. The alternative is much more embarassing when you don't know how much you have eaten and can't be held accountable to yourself for intake. You have to be proud that you have the willpower and…

34 is where I am!

Ellenton!

Great story and you are looking great!

I did it wrong. Perhaps if I didn't though, it wouldn't have kept me motivated? I lost 120lbs in 9 months back in 2008. 30+ lbs of that was muscle!!! I've been slowly building it back up and I think I just got it all back!! I did mostly cardio and low calories (1700) for 6 months and then finally incorporated resistance…

^This--keep your flora. Get healthy with some probiotics, supplements and water.

Although, this reminds me of the time I was eating these 6 whole wheat big fig bars... It said they were 60 calories each, but after doing further research, the whole foods place that sold them never cut them down so I was eating 120 calories each. I did this for a few months lol...

Your body retains all sorts of liquid (water) and solids (waste). The math DOES equal out, however, you just need to be patient. For instance, one week where I should have lost a pound I didn't--but the next week I also should have lost a pound, but I lost 2. It happens all of the time, yes it's discouraging, that's why…

I've been doing a p90x/p90x2 hyrbid workout for a few months now--I love it. Did full sets of p90x the past few years though--def. better than p90x2 in my opinion!! Enjoy the ride!!

Twinkies and other brand names under hostess will not be lost. Hostess will sell off those trademarks during a bankruptcy sale and you will be eating ding dongs again under little debbie or similar :) Companies recognize the Twinky brand name is a money maker...and money rules all :)

Yeah, that crap bothers me as well... I wonder how their blood work compares to mine though... Preventing Heart attacks and strokes doesn't just come from being thin--it depends on heredity and eating habits as well. Edit: although I eat like crap on the weekends too and can now maintain healthy blood work and…

My advice would be to do whatever keeps you on task to your goal. It doesn't matter about when you do the calories, it just matters that all the calories in are less than the ones going out! In all of my research that I've seen people lose and keep weight off is that the people who keep it off all had different ways to…

Yeah, no worries it will FLY off and mostly water. I remember going on a cruise and gained 22lbs in a week lol... At least 10 of them was fat but 12 fell off in a week no problem lol

LOL noticed this post on the main board (not under chit chat). I interpreted the topic A LOT differently lol
-
In hindsight, I should have lifted! I lost 120lbs in 9 months back in 2008--the first 6 months all I did was bike and then jog. The last 3 months I then incorporated resistance training and then the weight really fell off. I also lost over 30lbs of muscle which I think I have finally gained back. Definitely could of did…

How about tea? Caffeine will reduce your hunger...but it has cons too.
-
Egg whites for 21 days in a row will drop it!!
-
Awesome, but don't forget it does get easier with repeitition and as your knowledge grows--and maintenance can be quite fun!

it's in my profile. Not sure how to link those pics here and they are not hosted anywhere else.

LOL I remember when I could easily rest my arms on my stomach and/or use it as a table!

Juicing has it's benefits, but losing weight boils down to calories in/out. Messing with macros will help you do it healthier btw... :)
