If thinking of a specific number gives you anxiety, it might help to not necessarily have a specific end number. Instead, maybe take smaller steps. Give yourself an attainable goal such as "I'm going to lose 5 lbs this month". I know it helps me not to get overwhelmed with big goals when I break them down into small…

Yes! Absolutely! The race atmosphere is so wonderful, even if you're only walking. Maybe just being in that atmosphere will inspire you to run your next 5k ;) Good luck!!

Butternut squash, or really squash of any kind. Also, sweet potato is a great way to mix things up! Try baking one (or microwaving one for 6-8 minutes...they take forever) and then topping it with salsa and plain yogurt instead of sour cream. It's delicious, and something different to mix things up! :)

Ration it out for sure. Eat a little bit every day; plan it out in the beginning of your day so that you know you have room for it. It will teach you how to control portions and give you something to look forward to every day! :)

PB2 is amazing! It will taste different at first because it doesn't have the same fat content as peanut butter, but it's still sooooo tasty! :)

I have the exact same problem...sugar is my Achilles heel. I've learned that in order to combat them sometimes you just have to give in. Make room for them in your day, plan it out from the beginning. That way, you can have sweets and still lose weight. That's honestly the best way that I know to deal with them. Good luck!

Looks yummy! I"ll definitely have to try them, thanks!

I definitely understand! Sometimes when you're in an emotional situation it's really hard not to turn to food. Try drinking something, or doing something to distract your mind like reading a book or watching TV. You got this!

Feel free to add me...I was one of those homeschooled kiddos once myself! :) I'm on here every day!

I love this documentary! Isn't it amazing?? I haven't done the 8 day one, my record is 4 days before I was forced to give up because I simply didn't have time to juice....my juicer is ancient and takes forever to clean. I simply couldn't do it. I would like to try in the future though! The first 2-3 days are the hardest. I…

Good luck!! And yeah, it's a big deal to me; according to the math it's my 'perfect' number. Just trying to reach my goal :)

I'm a huge fan of protein shakes. I eat one of those with my meal or just make sure my meal has a lot of protein and I'm usually good to go for quite a few hours.

Thank you so much! I've been doing it wrong then for a while now so hopefully I can turn this around and not let my body plateau... :/

Sorry, that's what I meant. So, my net should always be equal to my goal then? No matter how much I exercise? How am I supposed to eliminate calories from my diet then if I'm just eating back what I burn off?
-
So, are you telling me that my net should always be zero no matter what?
